Women don't know shit about workflow. This faggotry is why we were forced to have the "Settings" app instead in a half-assed effort to jettison the vastly superior Control Panel.
I'm so go damn tired of women and foreigners ruining engineering.
"You don't have to switch devices and break your workflow"
You also didn't have to switch devices if you just weren't too retarded to send an email through your PC instead of having every message appended with "sent from my iPhone"
It took forever to find out how to change my keyboard language back to standard USA English when an esoteric keyboard shortcut was accidnetally set to the same shortcut for a browser extension. It is nt the same as the system language. Why is this even a thing? And, no, it doesn't show up as a notification in the system tray.
And everything else. And it will only get worse. The competent, high IQ White men who built society as we know it all retired, or quit, or got #metoo'd out of the industry, or are just plain too old to work and didn't train replacements. Now DEI hiring ensures there won't be a place for us again.
It makes me unbelievably angry to see everything deliberately mismanaged so catastrophically. People should be getting flogged in the street over this.
Cooler climates tend to weed out bad personal traits, warmer climates don't, hence darker skin being associated with lower classes and low quality genes.
I remember when windows 7 added "gadgets" as they called them, I think I used the post it and clock for about a week before I realised what's the fucking point since I can't see my reminder or the clock as soon as I open any window. Dual screens were quite the rarity at the time.
The one that came closest to being useful was the sticky note one that let me keep a to do list on the desktop but even that got more annoying than the value it brought.
I had Windows 11 on my gaming PC for a while and it's on the laptop I use for work. I've never been aware of or used any widgets. First thing I did was set it up to approach Windows 7, split my start menu up, show text, move it to the left, turn off all the shit. I do 80% of my computer based work on Linux anyway, the work laptop is for interoperability with normie business. KDE comes mostly set up how I want already.
Widgets were a funny thing for Android 2.0 people to brag about to Apple people in 2010. No one cares anymore.
I've been using the predecessor classic shell since 2017 for windows 10 and haven't even had to update it since. It has just simply worked over all major updates with literally zero issues and I get my W7 style that I like.
I just wish that it could change everything to not be retarded, but alas.
I mean it says right in the OP that she was hired to the services and storefronts team (where she started using a PC) and then moved to the Microsoft Rewards team (using a PC) and then eventually to Windows 11.
Sounds like it was years of PC use between hire and Windows 11.
And even then, only the widgets in Win11, which I assume is the weather popup thing that shows a bunch of news and stocks stuff.
Active Desktop launched as an update to Windows 95. We've known desktop widgets are shit for almost 30 years now. Okay, displaying hostname and IP is nice when you have a dozen machines in a lab, but that's about it.
Every kid starts out thinking how cool it will be to see a CPU temperature graph on their new rig. Then within a week, realizes that they spend zero time looking at their desktop because they actually use the damn thing. It's something you learn VERY fast as even a basic user.
DEI quotas for the upper positions.
They give them the "role" of looking at people working and report to the actual boss, it's called "middle management" and it doesn't have sense since you either manage something or work.
Such jobs are like the slave with a whip, hitting the other slaves if they work too slowly, without mercy because they want to keep their slave supervisor job and not pushing stone blocks.
Having them measure 'success' by how a shitty widget could make insufferable cunts like her 'happy' instead of how useful it could be to the user is peak Microslop logic.
Microsoft should go back to the Windows 8.1 interface minus the metro and charms. This was vastly superior to Windows 7 and Windows 10 once you removed those two things and installed Classic Shell Menu or Open Shell Menu.
Windows 8.1 was faster than 10, more reliable, had no spyware, and didn't freeze intermittently. Everything people complained about Windows 8 is trivially removed in 8.1, but cannot be removed in 10. Hate Metro, well in Windows 10 you can't get rid of it because all settings are now Metro style apps.
The only reason I don't still use Windows 8.1 is because NVIDIA and AMD don't make graphic drivers for it anymore, and that's only true because the uneducated masses are so blinded in their worship of Windows 10.
I can see it making sense if they were testing for intuitive features. Thats best done with focus groups though and not a designer. Microsoft needs to spend less time invading our privacy and more time optimizing

method of "measuring success:" polling feelings.
typical cunt waffling nonsense.

Make no mistake, this was all intentional.
It makes me unbelievably angry to see everything deliberately mismanaged so catastrophically. People should be getting flogged in the street over this.
And she’s a jeet.
And using light to make her look whiter. Jeets tend to do that.
They literally bleach their skin white, lmfao.
It's funny how a lot of nonwhites hate white people, and yet in their own societies, lighter skin usually means higher social status.
Cooler climates tend to weed out bad personal traits, warmer climates don't, hence darker skin being associated with lower classes and low quality genes.
Which bad personal traits are you thinking about? Because the behavior of the paler Europeans wasn't much to write home about before Christianity.
jeets are envious shit monsters
It's literally hatred born of envy
This - you'll never meet a more vitriolic woman than a young Indian woman trying to be White and realizing she's not.
Modernity is tanned people risking cancer to bleach their skins to be more white and white people risking cancer to sunbathe and be more tan.
Why is this not top comment?

Last time I saw an actually neat widget on Windows was some weeb turning his desktop into a Persona 4 menu.
I've not touched Windows widgets since the first iteration eons ago. They're just not useful enough to be worth my time.
Non-Windows related widgets built in games on the other hand can be rather handy sometimes when done right.
World of Warcraft would be the peak example of that, you can make the UI into literally anything from minimalism to fucking cancer rave party.
Widgets become irrelevant after 2 things happen: you age passed 12 or you've used win7 for 5 minutes.
Literally open a single program, widget is in the background and can't be seen, went back to ordinary post it notes in 2009.
I use open shell to turn the ui looking like win2k

Widgets were a thing for windows vista.
Yes, but she's Indian. No actual qualifications required to work at Neposoft.
Yes hello I’m a white male with 20 years of computer programming and software design, can I work for you Microsoft?
lol no
Yes hello I’m a female from India with zero software experience. I just learned what a computer was this morning.
SLAMS HIRE BUTTON
Haha, a pattern is indeed appearing.
oh boy, now she is going to fire all the essential white male producers and bring in all the jeets to gain izzat from them. Microsoft gaming is done.
And also to gain kickbacks from them. Which gives her even more izzat, for scamming her way around labor laws.
bringing in jeets to the USA to work in tech companies indebts them to her, that is maximum izzat
Well that explains a lot.

Lol all that and it's a bunch of square tiles that look exactly like Apple's except worse. Literally what was the work designing that

Now many fucking browser eats up 5 gif of ram by itself for basic office shit.
I long for the days when the most custom out there thing on my PC was a user made skin for Winamp.
Winamp Winzip Limewire Macromedia Notepad+ My Documents
I miss the 00s.
Well that and all the Indians
Win11 makes you throw up
If Valve made a solid competitor to Kikerosoft, they would easily win

Actually it says that she never used a Windows PC. It doesn't say that she has never used a computer. Many people grew up on Macs.
Apple had an entire ad campaign around "I'm a Mac" and "I'm a PC" and them not being the same thing.
So if people don't count Macs as PCs, they're just agreeing with Apple.
A PC is based on the 8086 Intel line (Intel and AMD CPUs). Modern "MACs" are PCs with an inferior operating system at least for a time.
1984 – 1994 Motorola 68k (not PC)
1994 – 2006 PowerPC (RISC, not PC)
2006 – 2020 Intel (x86) (PC)
2020 – Present Apple Silicon (ARM) (not PC)
PC refers to the architecture, not the OS.
Do not bring such peasantry here.
