NEW: X executive says creator monetization program may potentially be ended, saying that the system does “more harm than good.”
Bad news for India and Pakistan.
Good. They can keep that shit to themselves.
If only they kept their shit to themselves 💩🤢🤮
And off the streets except for the designated shitting streets
GOOD! The street shitters should all be banned from the normal internet anyways. Now we can just tell and insta-block. I hope someone makes an extension for it that checks if Indian and just autoblocks.
Not so much for our Pakistani brothers as they still have Scored. Julia Kendricks (1rst link) hopes you will read her views. Mr. Lambert (also 1rst link) doesn't know that his photo has been stolen.

You have to go back.
Pretty sure that was ironic, as far as I can understand that comment.
It's not. Watch which topics he comments on.
DO NOT REDEEM!
DO NOT REEEEEDEEEEM!
ARE YOU MAD!?!? DO NOT REDEEM THAT. DO NOT REEDEM THAT!!! I WILL MAKE YOU PROSTITUTE!!!!
REDEEM AND RUN BEFORE ELON CANCELS YOUR PAYMENT!
SAAAR.
JENAB.
Meh. It's a good attempt in the right direction, but it still misses going far enough.
The entire Internet needs to be completely redesigned from the ground up, starting with computing technology itself. Anyone caught attempting to install pre-designed flaws for their own benefit needs to be blacklisted from all technological work. Forever.
The monetization program turned my "For you" feed into nothing but engagement bait posted by Pajeets or some other shitworlder—science slop/science is le heckin' magic vids, life "hacks" done by actual hacks (complete with condescending finger wag), and stupid CGI cartoons.
The literal only reason I've ever considered having one is because guys around here just link to random twitters all the time with no further explanation other than a half-assed title. And about 50% of the time, it won't load and just ask me to log in to Twitter to show it.
Its very annoying.
I don't disagree. Most of it is just cheap virtue signalling or the political equivalent of masturbation. But people treat it as gospel and get very mad if you don't go along with the echo chamber of nodding along with it.
But, its still the prompt for the discussion and sometimes the discussion is much more valuable than the nonsense that inspired it. Heck I often learn a lot trying to break it down and finding the reality it was using as foundation for the spin. I don't enjoy reading only the clickbait headline and then being expected to just "listen and believe" it, but that's what these unarchived twitter posts leave me with at times.
M Y P U S S Y I N B I O
And then you never see any cute cats, always disappointing.
If your For You timeline is showing you things you don't want to see, that's a curation problem, not an algorithm problem. Just block what you don't want to see and it stops showing up.
Good. Even ignoring Indians from Pakistan and India consuming so much porn that it jacks everyone’s algorithm up, it will be nice to see all these accounts lambasting the US on things like guns and public transport (because even most US leftists have a baseline understanding of these things) being exposed for not being American and trying to influence the US.
It will be a bad day to be Ian Miles Chungus.
Western countries should just range IP ban Israel, India, and China and the internet would be incredible again.
With the DNC no longer controlling Twitter, you would still have to ferret out the DNC bot farms.
The first social media platform to implement a 'block India' button will win itself hegemony over the next decade.
Bonus points if it lets users clean up the remaining spam by paying a flat, anonymous one-time "I'm not a bot" fee of like five dollars, and then filtering for users who have paid the fee. Between these two, you'd have spam completely solved.
I'd agree with the first half but not the second. Geoblocking everything in South America, Africa and Asia west of Korea would have a disproportionate benefit for most online systems, but if the expected return on spam wasn't more than $5 it would already be a solved problem on Twitter with their blue checkmark.
Do the spam accounts (crypto 'investor' bots, etcetera) have blue checkmarks?
I very much doubt that they have an ROI of more than a few cents per bot.
I recall India had basically gamed the monetization program into a scam.
How will origin be determined, from what you put in your profile or IP?
THE REDEEMING WILL CONTINUE.
bad idea with the origin country, especially if it are countries with speech laws which can get you imprisoned, you might fligh under the radar if you dont speak your native language. But with this you can end up on a list really fast.
That's a fair point, but consider the fact that the Brits pretty much deserve it now.
It arent just the brits which have laws like that. Quite a few EU states too.
Sounds like a them problem and that they should take it up with their cuck of a country imo.
Also.. this is important because idiotic politicians and american corporations take opinions from twitter and treat it as opinions of americans.. but it could just be jeets, russians and israelis astroturfing or botting responses.
Although... country of origin can be super easily spoofed, but at least most people are too stupid to know how to do it.
well Elon never said how many bots are on his platform and I doubt the people controlling million of bots are too stupid to spoof their location. Most people rather just lack the motivation to look it up. And just visit a different site if they wanna comment and not risk moral busy bodies and lawyers fining them or putting them behind bars for some words. Or they just wont comment at all then.
