I'd argue that main is an entirely valid, in terms of descriptive purpose, thing to call it. Goddammit, and Fidelity is what my employer uses for my 401k. And I'm not keen to suddenly stop investing in this, because my employer partially matches my contributions.
Most of my money is in a Fidelity mutual fund so this is pretty concerning to me too.

Indians hire Indians, to the exclusion of everyone else. Blatantly, and no one ever makes them stop. Once one gets hired, it is a cascading snowball.
And, once the pajeet infestation gets too deep, they can never be fired, because they are all over the place, and to fire them would leave you with no one to do any work.

Pretty much. A tech company can fake a whole lot for a long time without actually moving the needle. I've lived it.
in my experience, their slacker types are very good at generating alot of "management noise", so that anyone not aggressively paying attention can be misled for months into thinking actual work is being done.
and then, once the con becomes obvious, the exec would need to come clean that he personally failed at his supervision duties, and wasted possibly hundreds of man-years. going into confrontation is risky, just from the corpo politics side, and then there's the threat of accusations of racism, so its a very unpleasant uphill battle. unsurprisingly most chose to cover it up instead, and pretend everything is fine.

IF however you watch and manage them right from the get go.. they'll claim you're doing that because your racist, and the only thing saved is the time, effort and man-hours before they fire you and give the jeet your job.

Likewise with any other tech company: Their existing products will keep them going for 5 more years, in many cases, so any innovation or product development is a cost to be slashed, not an investment in future profits. So minimizing the cost of them is imperative.

My kids and I noticed when we order groceries, the elderly people perfectly bring it to our door. But, people that we don't feel bad delivering to the second floor find every excuse to leave the groceries as far away from our door as they possibly can.

They want to merge someone else's code hosted on a public GitHub repo to the main/master code branch, is what it looks like.
There are "enterprise" GitHubs accounts/repos which are supposed to be "private and secure." Which no sane company would use for anything remotely critical. But, without seeing the URL, it is possible the source isn't a public repo. I think.
Typically that would have a non-github.com URL, wouldn't it? But yes, that could theoretically be an "internal" GitHub site that people outside the company aren't supposed to have access to.
No. Enterprise GitHub is all in GitHub.com with sso for auth. The company repos aren’t public.

Go anywhere near someone using any sort of Git in a big corporation, I'd be shocked if the department was any less than 95% Indian. This is far, far, far, more widespread than just something happening at Fidelity.
