Some very punny material delivered well. Neeson nails the deadpan style of Nielsen (pbuh). Lots of loud guffaws evoked. Best part? No gay shit!

Leslie Nelson was a serious actor for a long time before he became known for comedy. He used to come to Boise ID to do serious stuff.
Yeah, watch him in Forbidden Planet. It's weird to see him not be funny, yet still nail it.
But by some miracle, Nielsen proved even better at comedy than he was at drama.
I loved him in Surf Ninjas.
Why so serious?
Why the long face?
I just want to tell you both good luck, we’re all counting on you…

It's what makes his dead pan humor unbelievably good.
Liam Neeson is on a similar trajectory. Normally known for serious stuff but he's hilarious.

In Creepshow he plays a murderous jealous ex-husband. And played it well
The story I know goes that he was in the movie Airplane because he was in the movie it was mocking.
I feel like they played it safe in a few spots when they didn't need to, but it's genuinely funny.
That's Hollywood all over now. They'd rather "play it safe" with another remake/sequel. This is exemplified by the fact that it's a Naked Gun movie and not an original title.
Sure, it may still be a good movie, but I have to overlook the fact that somebody thought it wasn't good enough to stand on its own without the help of a previous success.
the world is healing
Almost went with that as the title lol
yea, but was there a black, female, disabled, heroine or president? That's your woke marker.
CCH Pounder was the police chief, but given how she has played senior official characters before, I wouldn't say it's woke.
She had the best portrayal of Amanda Waller to date, and was great as Mrs. Frederic on Warehouse 13 too.
Take a day off and learn to just laugh at a movie man
Oh I love me some Liam Neesons. He's got special skills. lol
I’ll have to check it out then.
I'm honestly shocked. Guess I'll give it a shot.
It's almost as good as the first one, roughly equal to the sequels. 100% worth watching.
Watched it in theaters with a few beers in me. Haven't laughed that hard in a while. Not a masterpiece, but compared to the "comedy" being shat out on screens these days it was great
I'd absolutely watch that movie.
It was just okay. Long stretches of no jokes, lots of stuff that's only possible in CGI which makes it cartoonish.
Wasn't as good as A Touch of Cloth, which isn't saying much.
My favorite part was how he kept getting handed coffee cups, and Pamela Anderson's accurate portrayal of obnoxious jazz singers.
Never thought I’d utter these words, but Pam Anderson scatting was hilariously enjoyable
I'm I gonna have to go see a movie?
In a theater?
I'd advise against it, otherwise they'll make another.
There arrrrr always other options, me m80
Not right now other than awful CAMs. But should be out of theatres soon.
Lookmovie2.to
It'll be out on home media soon, which means watching it will be no torrent at all.
Sometimes I forget that it doesn't take 6-8 months for a movie to be available for home viewing.
I'm looking forward to it. A bunch of friends have been saying some good shit about it. It seems like a classic slapstick
You must have crushed one too many beer cans on your forehead.
I haven't finished it but it's genuinely good. I'm surprised as well.
This was the funniest bit :

Wasnt a fan of this but neither of the originals, I like my comedy either dark or naughty.
