Archive.is can be absolutely retarded witch captchas sometimes, which is frustrating because other than that they've been excellent and largely reliable.
Archive.is just started hitting me with captchas the other day.
I like Archive.is for its relative speed & ease of use.
It often doesn't get along with saving Nitter tweets. And if it saves an error screenshot from Nitter, you have to play tricks with it to try again because there doesn't seem to be an "archive again" option in quick succession.
Archive.is also behaves strangely with archiving tweets. On mobile it will only save the root tweet without replies but on PC it will save most of the reply tree.
Tor is also useless for external links.
A lot of the captcha protections can't be satisfied while using tor. So reading any threads with links are as though they don't exist.
