Sounds like a hypochondriac who went to the hospital for vague panicky symptoms went home only to come down with a new set of symptoms that sound exactly like someone who is just nervous and breathing quick and shallow.
Yeah anyone who knows what O2 saturation is and is regularly checking it and their resting heart rate is someone who was looking for a diagnosis to justify their panic.
Is there any (trustworthy) documentation on how people reacted after the Spanish Flu killed all those people last century? Did they have this same cultish behavior afterwards, or did everyone try to get on with their lives? I know you can get concentrated pockets of crazies here and there, but this level of wide-spread worship could only happen with 24/7 broadcasting.
Based on what I’ve learned about people who lived before us, they mostly just accepted that people died from all kinds of things and there was nothing you could do about it.
The most common age of death throughout human history was less than one year old. I doubt the Spanish Flu registered more than a small blip on most people’s radar.
People as a whole were less histrionic. Today's people are more animalistic and impulsive. The west's cultural decline reflects on the psychology of the general population.
Not my specialization, but from what I understand the rich went hypochondriac. If someone coughed they were fired. They didn't know how germs worked at the time so a lot of older methods were used that probably spread it further. Hospitals were not trusted because they didn't really understand cleaning instruments yet, or even how to treat things correctly.
So, they would group anyone they thought had the flu in the same building and wait for them to die while the nurses treated them without masks. Meanwhile, the rest of the world was busier with empires trying to expand and not being able to without taking out others. World War I. A small scandal in finances happened during this time, but it's barely remembered today. It was a lot like COVID I guess.
Probably not lol. The issues with comfortability culture is that people get all whacked out when they have to live with anything less than utter dopamine bliss.
Blood in your urine is never nothing and the fact that the doctor sent him home after it tells me it not only wasn't blood, but he is a lying sack of hypochondria.
Hematuria in women has many benign explanations that don't necessarily require any workup in the absence of other confounding symptoms or factors (back/abdo pain, pain with urination, recent trauma, STI history, etc).
Hematuria in men is a little different just because of plumbing. Blood in a dude's urine similarly should have a workup based on age, symptoms, risk factors, most likely diagnosis.
In young guys, it's most likely due to STIs or blunt kidney trauma.
In older guys, you are more worried about bladder & kidney cancer.
TBH, a surprising number of hypochondriac boomers do have a cheap home pulse oximeter these days. Who knows how reliable they actually are though, you just know that cheap chineseium shit had zero quality checking.
I think the basic readings on them are reasonably accurate.
The issue is that certain finger archetypes in seniors are really hard to get a reading on. Nodular joints from arthritis or thick fingernails from clubbing make the portal devices not really read anything at all.
If you can detect any hypoxia at all in an otherwise healthy finger, it's probably real. Blood is pretty good at maintaining oxygenation even in stressful circumstances in people with normal physiology and no underling conditions.
A bigger question is what to do with the info. A reading of 95-96% in a healthy person is notable, but probably just something to keep an eye on.
Readings dipping to 90-92% probably warrant going back to the doc ASAP.
The Jab has already killed more people than the Covid-19.84 did. Along with the hysteria. The damage done by the "safety measures" will keep falling on us for decades to come.
Yet to this day they're insisting on Jabbing babies! and kids under 14 who literally never die from the Koff.
All the idiot leftists from Vancouver escaped to the island when the Chinese invaded in the 00's. Getting $2M for their $1M houses and condos was a good incentive, plus they could flee the cesspool their policies created.

Perhaps they were a little distracted by the Spanish Civil War that came sometime later.
(I realize its origins were most likely Kentucky rather than Iberia).
it was china.

Kind of depends.

or it's just the canadian healthcare system as usual.
Peeing blood. Claims it was nothing. Masker, vaxxer, Canadian.
Gay STD confirmed.
Ah, the delusional combo of Reddit and Vancouver Island.
Wonder how they got their O2 sats lying in bed with tachycardia & myalgia?
Do they actually have a home pulse oximeter or are they just be histrionic from their self-diagnosis of acral cyanosis?
TBH, a surprising number of hypochondriac boomers do have a cheap home pulse oximeter these days. Who knows how reliable they actually are though, you just know that cheap chineseium shit had zero quality checking.
the ones i've seen used in doctor's offices lately can't be TOO expensive. you can get a pretty basic one off amazon for 10 bucks.
Probably left over from the rona hysteria.

Behold, the target audience of the Colbert Vax-scene skits.
Canadian retards, which is redundant.
If it is any consolation, these people will be dead soon, and the sad part of it is, they will never see that it is the jab that killed them.

HUEHUEHUEHUEHUE
Can’t get you vaccines? I heard a shot of Draino works just as well.
Nah it evolved. Now you need to inject hydrofluoric acid to stop the omegalul strain of COVID-1984.
What the fuck is wrong with the island?
All the idiot leftists from Vancouver escaped to the island when the Chinese invaded in the 00's. Getting $2M for their $1M houses and condos was a good incentive, plus they could flee the cesspool their policies created.
Covidiots.
