again, I have my doubts that these attacks are only hitting Hezbollah. Israel doesn't care about killing civilians.

Let's be real here, nobody actually cares about that. Not us, not the Israelis, not the Russians. And certainly not the mohammandans.

Civilian casualties are a fact of warfare. The pager bombings are stupid for several other reasons, not to mention hilarious. But arabs only pretend to care about their children when it's someone else killing them. Of any group in the world, they are the most eager to use crocodile tears.

I'm under no illusion that any side actually cares about civilians in the pointless endless war that is the holy land. that's why I hold the firm opinion that we should just fuck off. stop injecting weapons into either side, stop funding either side, let them kill each other.

Oh I agree completely. But trying to scold the Israelis for harming civilians is going to reach only the deafest of ears.

I too have been noticing that.

and if their shit spills out into our country, we punish both sides heavily.

I do care about civilian casualties. But, then again, I'm not a sociopath begging for votes and power, nor am I intentionally looking to leverage violence against others that do me no harm.

The fat and rich command, and the masses suffer. It's the way of history practically forever.

For my part, I have too much experience with them to pretend like there's such a thing as civilians in islam.

What does it mean to 'care'? You have sad feelings or concern towards people thousands of miles away who you never knew? I'd rather save my empathy for the people closest around me.

If I made a tier list, yeah, my family would be at the top. But that doesn't mean innocent people who just want to live their lives doesn't make my list at all.

no one cares about that because most military doctrines seem to advocate the military use of civilian infrastructure, among other things, to be able to whine about muh war crimes when they get hit by retaliatory fire.

even ignoring the fact that the Geneva Convention seems to have been turned into the Geneva Checklist in recent years, the stated rules are clear. any originally civilian object used for military purpose becomes a legitimate military target.

fuck the people who do this.

Relative to Israel and America, Russia has been extremely restrained. They could level Kiev in day.

Agreed. And from their perspective it makes perfect sense to do so.

I made that point yesterday too. Especially against terrorists who hide among civilians, you don't have as many options.

Killing tens of thousands of women and children in order to also kill the terrorists hiding amongst them is an insanely immoral strategy.

Well, while we're making things up that didn't happen, what if Russia is actually behind the jews?

Indications are this is a supply chain attack.

So while there are collateral victims, the device bearers are probably all connected to the organization.

Setting off hundreds or thousands of explosions in a civilian area, particularly when you don't know what the collateral damage is is an evil act and should be condemned as such.

It's terrorism when Hamas sets off random explosions in civilian areas, it's terrorism when other organizations (to include a certain country) do it, too.

The sheer number and random placement of the bombs - and these are literally just bombs - almost insures that a large number of civilians will be harmed.

But Israel gets a free pass on all collateral damage. Because muh chosen.

Yup, hundreds of civilians have been reportedly injured.

It's crazy looking at some of the comments on normie channels defending and justifying the injuries because of "muh Hezbollah".

I asked a few of those same people if they would be cheering on the attacks if some of their family members were part of the civilians injured? And just had silence as a response.

you don't get to hide among civilians and then complain about civilian casualties.

From a tactical perspective this is absolutely wrong.

These attacks are wildly more precise than any weapon in our arsenal, or any theoretical weapon in our arsenal, because the targets are self-selecting.

This isn't "random explosions". These are effectively exploding a person's wallet.

The closest weapon we have to this is a specially designed inert missile that, rather than exploding, has spinning blades push from the casing. It is designed to take out single vehicles. It still kills everyone inside the car. I've now personally watched two videos of innocent civilians being completely unharmed from exploding peripherals that are not even 5 feet away. A sniper's bullet is more dangerous than this, because of just how far a .300 WinMag can over-penetrate.

More than random explosions, this is closer to deploying a platoon of ninja assassins.

Except since the cyber-warfare attack is utilizing the batteries, rather than a proper explosive, almost no one seems to have been killed in these attacks, only maiming.

Oh look, Gizortnik arrives to defend the bad behavior of Jewish people once again. What a surprise. Who could have possibly predicted this unexpected turn in the discourse?

Your last sentence is incorrect. If the pagers were spontaneously combusting then using a battery as a pyrotechnic device would be more credible, but if you've watched any of the videos it's clear that they're using some kind of high explosive.

It seems like these devices are being triggered to explode in a manner where there is some acknowledgement of a received message. Like reading the message on a beeper, not just having a beeper. The vast and sweeping majority of these are going to be detonating on people who are specifically working with them. I'd be surprised if there were more than a handful of incidents of collateral damage so far.

Really, the question needs to be about whether or not you want to target Hezbollah's non-militants. Yes we call it a terrorist organization, but it is also a full fledged political party in multiple states. Killing every single person in a party is wildly broad. So, the real question is: how does Israel know which of these numbers to target? I don't have an answer to that, but it doesn't seem to be a full scope, because they seem to be targeting specific cities.
