All of them were mega-Hitlers (or the daughter of mega-Hitler) when in office.

Now they're "notable Republicans" that are reminders of a time when the party was more respectable.

The favorability of George Bush among the political Left was not what I saw coming.

Hell, I was 100% on-board the "Bush is a war criminal!" train before Obama was elected.

Then during Obama I was like, "oh, none of them are actually in charge of anything related to foreign policy."

He's not what I thought he was in 2001-2008, but he's still an establishment piece of shit.

You're wrong about foreign policy. They are 100% in control of it. The difference is that the NeoCons focus on hard power, and NeoLibs focus on soft power.

Beyond that, every single strategic objective was exactly the same.

Victoria Nuland says one thing, George Bush says another on the campaign trail.

What Victoria Nuland says ends up happening.

Victoria Nuland says another thing, Barack Obama says another on the campaign trail.

What Victoria Nuland says ends up happening.

Victoria Nuland says a third thing, Donald Trump says another on the campaign trail. 4 years of the most obvious, petty weaponization of the government against the Trump administration ensues. Victoria Nuland's plan ends up mostly happening anyway.

I do not believe that the president has much control over it at all.

Professional liars lied on the campaign trail. That doesn't surprise me. Both parties appointed her to the position. Trump didn't hire her, and the entire deep state did everything in their power to undermine his command because Trump didn't purge every department and agency of previous admin officials.

The president has a ton of control when he's facing no institutional resistance because everyone agrees and works towards the same goal. Trump faced actual systemic discrimination and resistance.

Maybe.

But I doubt it.

I think Mike Benz is the most credible-sounding person I've found on this subject and he's very much of the opinion that the foreign policy apparatus of the CIA is completely out of control, to the point that it is now also completely taking over the domestic affairs of the US.

I think both sides have a tendency to think that their current opponent is worse than the last guy. Republicans compared Clinton favorably to Bathhouse Barry when the latter was in office. If Joe Pedo was actually running the show they might be doing the same thing with him and Barry.

Yeah, but this is a level of completely lunacy.

The only close comparisons is how they treated Goldwater and 0-term Reagan.

Mega-Hitlers are obsolete, we're using Tera-Hitlers now.

We skipped right over Giga-Hitlers...Orange Man is just that Bad.

We don't even need Hitler any more. Just say "Trumpian".

Trumpian is 3.4 Tera-Hitlers.

The Science! says Trumpian people commit genocide just by thinking about it. Every day.

I wonder if we'll live to see Orange Man's redemption.

Demographics will didcate how history will be written.

If they take him down, something like :

Orange Man, who is bad for ''persecuting undocumented Americans in concentration and deportation camps'', was heroically taken down by X after Y and Z narrowly-missed previously.

If Trump actually deports the illegals, who knows, but he'll stil likely be depicted as a bad person because Mean Tweets seem to trigger those in Academia super hard, and they write the history books.

We're at The Heel phase of the Donald Trump story arc. As he now is destroying all comers we will soon be entering The MAGATRON phase, there will be none who can withstand the onslaught.

No, he started out as a heel in 2016. He's a Face now.

Strangely enough, after insisting that she wouldn't be attending, Nicky Haley suddenly changed her mind a few days before the convention and announced she was going.

I wonder what she thought would be different.

It certainly would be interesting to get a look at her communications, and see if anyone suggested she show up.

"Can't go into details, but trust us, you'll really want to show up at the RNC 👀😂"

If even turtleneck turns up because he realises that after the assassination attempt, the party is essentially Trump's party, these 'notable Republicans' may as well excommunicate themselves.

Oh wait this is from the MSDNC, explains the list.

Excuse me, that is very offensive and like triggering and such as.

I believe you meant "War Profiteer's Daughter".

So a bunch of has beens who hold a grudge against Orange Man for not letting them continue to drive the party off a cliff? Bush didn't show up when Mittens was the candidate either, so that's not as notable as it would if Slick Willy or Bathhouse Barry didn't show up to the DNC.

notable

It’s almost like the establishment has been exclusively promoting traitors who don’t represent the vast majority of republican voters.

Paul Ryan is only one who could even remotely be considered "notable" these days, and even that's a stretch.
