His entire "work" career is 6 years at IBM as a "product manager", 1.5 years as a "Software Director" and the remaining 25+ years of his career is in diversity outreach.
His only "certifications" are for a "diversity professional" which he only got right after the Summer of Love.
His engineering and observational skills are SO good that, as a 50+ year old guy wearing a college jacket and some guy makes tries to make small talk about his jersey being a college basketball one - he immediately thinks the guy is calling him a basketball coach because of his color.
Why not gently correct the "seat mate" and say proudly "no no, i'm the newly annointed diversity political commissar" I mean... you're proud of your work in promoting racism, right?
Dude literally just said "basketball?" and the prick immediately invented a lynching story in his head. God forbid you try to find out if a stranger in a college shirt likes basketball just after (or during if he's been holding that grudge for a while) march madness.
Every nigger is a landmine. Every nigger is at best a possible lawsuit that will utterly ruin your life with them screaming "muh racist". Every nigger is a possible chimpout that if you defend yourself will result in, at best, life in prison. Just by being in the same physical space as a nigger your life, in aggregate, is shortened. Just do whatever non-baseball job you do for the baseball team. If you're an accountant, be an accountant for the nearest MILB affiliate. After a few years of hard work you can move up and maybe crunch numbers in the show.
I actually learned about that fairly recently on the show Mike Rowe does called story behind the story. In the Air Force I read about his military career along with the other 4 star generals in WW2.
I liked to read biographies of US Presidents during my own time in middle school, which is how I knew that tidbit.

I mean I never got my PE and I don't design bridges, but the menial work I do that I call engineering is certainly a lot more complicated and engineer-like than this guy's job. An education in political science would have been more on point for that. I suppose I do have far less prestigious titles, along with far less respect for prestigious titles.
Let's for some reason pretend this race commissar's story is actually true, and that SeatMate assumed he's in basketball because he's black and not because of his stupid jersey. Could it be that people have a stereotype of basketball teams being 95% black? Why is that? Black man, are you willing to impose diversity and inclusion policies to enforce equity on the basketball court and destroy those unfounded prejudices? No? I know as if there isn't an article on buzzfeed within the past weeks that reads, "WHITE PEOPLE NEVER SEASON THEIR FOOD." And if you take offense to these frank racial conversations you have white fragility.

I don't believe that the initial exchange even happened, because if it had he surely would have posted a picture of the offender.
And if some sort of exchange did happen, I don't believe the recounting of the person who's job depends on the existence of racism, nor do I believe that any of these communist czars would be honest about anything.
