Npcs using ai to see what you mean and react accordingly will be amazing though, doubt bethesda could do that but mods have shown how cool that can be, ironically for skyrim.
Yeah that will be a legitimate benefit from generative algorithms, along with smooth dynamic animations without motion capture.
All npc's are AI. That's what AI actually means.
Duh, I meant more stuff like this here. This is hopefully the future, it's very basic right now and obviously from a mod. AI in games normally is very, very basic also, this is running a text gen model in the BG.
honestly biggest hold up for that is pcs arent strong enough to run it at that level yet without some kind of always online system
And it never will if there's not some sorta optimization going on, which I am sure especially someone like Nvidia who's going full throttle into AI is working on.
