The minute the Podesta files leaked there was enough to raise serious eyebrows. Any normie would have been cuffed and investigated pretty quickly. But because of who was involved, the media ran a blitz just like with the vaccines, just like with the voter fraud, just like Hunter's laptop, to say everything was "debunked" and a "Right wing conspiracy theory".
There were so many cover-ups happening around that time it was more frustrating than anything. It basically proved that the Elites are untouchable and no amount of evidence would ever result in a proper investigation, much less any kind of prosecution for those involved.
And the Podesta brothers definitely don't look like the police sketches in the Madeleine McCann disappearance
The entire reason pizzagate started was because there was an overwhelming amount of suspicious and wild shit that had no "innocent" explanation possible. It was all smoke, so there wasn't anything concrete enough to build a true theory on though.
So the conclusion was "debunked" because it might have been completely off the mark, but they never actually explained what all the horrific shit that led to the theory was in the first place and treat the debunking as absolving all of that as well.
One of the few retrospective takes about it that is fair, accurate and not hyperbolic. I remember the wikileak emails coming each night and the continual stream of weird shit they talked about.

I temper about Podesta but not Slade Sohmer. Doesn’t surprise me considering what I’ve heard within other conspiracy theories. First I ever heard of a connection between elites and pedos was David Icke.

They get incredibly complacent and lazy when they don't face the retribution for a while. This last decade, we have seen media treating pedos and trannies alike with kid gloves. The way these small fries like Slade Sohmer or Clint Harden saw how James Alefantis could get away with that blatant symbolism in his instagram posts, they thought they could get away, too. Something big seems to be happening this year. It's like 3 or 4 people that "debunked" pizzagate keep getting caught one by one.
The FBI is involved; never rule out glowie-ops.
