The crew formulates this will lead to a further bifurcation in GenZ between those who had families who controlled their electronics and internet vs those who did not.
40% of GenZ had no job as a teenager, 70% worry about finding a job that is "meaningful". 60% of GenZ worries about having enough money to pay bills, and this applies to every generation except Boomers, who feel they have enough money (with 61% saying they are fine).

Given the divergence in hobbies between men and women, it highlights that the one thing that could bring both sexes together (drinking/smoking/lounging/dancing/etc.,) is dwindling among the Zoomers. It feeds into a lot of the other current stats that seem to highlight this, mostly in good part due to feminism making Western women unruly and unlikable (across multiple facets), men having zero incentive to pursue women, the economy not accommodating unnecessary expenses (drinking, smoking, partying at clubs, etc.,) and the long-term outcome of dating (i.e., marriage) being 100% drawback and detriment to men.
Learn Spanish, get yourself financial and head off to Argentina four times a year.
Or just go to the Philippines and meet some people.
Western women have been given the license to be as selfish as they like and it is not making them happy. You can rent a flat in Haiti, or Argentina and visit it when you like. If you want to install a lady there you can take your sweet time to see if she is a faithful and sensible lady before you have a kid with her. If she cheats just cancel the rent and change your phone number. There is no child support required. She can agree to your terms with regard to custody or she can fucking starve
If things work well you can import her and your child when he is ready for highschool. By then you will know very well if she is worth the effort.
Take steps to leverage your earning power and freedom of travel to get a situation where you have the advantage. Otherwise there is no downside for women to end things and take the kid and the money.
I am not really one to talk since I dont drink or smoke myself (older Millennial) and I met my fiancé at school. I am just passing along their things they said as people who were GenX (a fact worth remembering here).
The issue is I am willing to engage with people who do that, but I wont myself. I can tolerate alcohol if I must, but its not my thing.
I have generally used alternative methods to network, and at least for work I have relied on my work horse mentality to pull me along. But then, I also have Aspergers so there is something to be said that I dont really think I am missing out on anything by not really socializing outside of specific arenas (usually game shops and table top).
Well Asperger’s is its own beast. One thing that older men usually look for in someone to mentor is someone that can match their lifestyle or surpass it, that means being able to handle liquor, cigars, etc, not in excess but to be able to manage as they do. They want the guy to shot pool with, golf with, etc to pass their wisdom too.
While definitely true, the management at the shop I work at has given me a lot of autonomy and has me working on product for our number 1 customer. Simply because I demonstrated a high degree of detail and care for my work in the parts I build, so they have trust me with the more important jobs. And that is something I take pride in.
Oh work detail definitely matters, I was talking more for what someone looks for in a mentee, but being able to display competency regardless will make waves for you
This is probably more of a cheat code than you realize; Cigar shops are one of the few 'male only' spaces that you'll find, nowadays.
It's also a 'classy' enough hobby without being weird(as opposed to, say, guns), and would probably give you a good natural 'in' with your local high muckity-mucks.

I drink and smoke (cigars), probably the best networking you can do as a younger male is be willing to smoke a cigar and shoot the shit.
