The series name is A Song of Ice and Fire but that's not the name of any of the books, the first book in the series is literally called "A Game of Thrones". š¤¦āāļø

She also said "Game of Thrones series" which was wrong, and she'd know if she read the books, as opposed to having watched the tv show, that the series is called ASOIAF.
Also the girl was clearly lying. She's never read any books. She was just naming famous tv shows and movies she knew were based on books.
Oh yeah, his confidence rode roughshod over her, and she's full of shit too. But to be fair he cut her off to ask for the name when she just said "game of thrones", she only added series when he made her repeat it.
That's just what drama podcasts are for though, overconfident airheads shouting fake gotchas for the audience to seal clap and yas kween over. The listeners don't want boring shit like accuracy.

And usually its even more blatant than this. Books aren't really a hobby for most people, and are very general. Even people who don't read should be able to name a few they heard about on TV or in school (proving how retarded this girl is).
But when it came to nerd shit, failing the most basic test wasn't just you being stupid. It was you accidentally revealing that you were outright lying because it was often just a baseline level of information.
