Yes the depiction isnt that bad compared to the average amerifat tatted up randomly pierced blue-hair bowlcut landwhale.
But as a fantasy charcter she is supposed to be idealized. Her most prominent feature is the fat deposits on her upper legs. She is squat and dumpy and boyfaced and unappealing.
Dont accept the incremental subversion just because it could be worse.
If you are gonna make the "it needs to be IDEALIZED" argument, then you completely missed Reed in the center who has the bland unmuscled body of a generic beta hiding behind the baggy outfit he cannot fill in any section.
He should look exactly like Johnny does, but his appearance is so inoffensive that it failed to even get notice.
While I ain't gonna argue against the one up there being anything special, the commonly depicted version of Sue is bland beyond belief. So any in universe shilling about how hot she is feels just hollow.

Broad shoulders? Her shoulders are one head width on either side, vs one and half head widths for the two standard male characters. Those shoulders are textbook male and female proportions from every 'how to draw people' book since Loomis.

As for the big feet and hands, if your character is going to spend 90% of their time punching and kicking people, that's what you do. See: Street Fighter designs.

Having the ---Human--- Torch as a burnt match was off-putting.
The more i look at it the stranger it gets, only the stone guy looks okay but the rest is peculiar. Why is the fire guy not wearing shoes? reed looks tired and frumpy and got a messed up right arm, what the fuck did the artist do to sue?

Reed can literally stretch and his uniform is baggy ... probably because he needs the room to stretch.

Three out of four characters look decent and the fourth looks like the mom from The Incredibles. I'd rather have them drawn Jack Kirby style but at least this isn't deliberately ugly and antagonistic.
