It is funny how they try to claim EVERYONE else's culture but do not attempt to learn African history, almost like they are ashamed or know something kept them from developing for years..
Like all that enslaving and selling to foreign countries their own people long before the Europeans arrived
If I was interested in African history I would simply read the books they wrote or visit the museums they built and filled up with their historical artifacts.
I think the British have most of their artifacts in THEIR museums for one simple reason:

I think the British have a mentality to want to preserve than destroy history, it's why I think rather than destroy when they conquered a place, they simply took it and preserved it in museums and archives instead.
Why don't they just simply go to the African Rome, and like, visit the African Colosseum for some African culture?
Maybe read some African renaissance poetry, and put on some plays by the African Ibsen.
Maybe listen to a bit of African Bach. Eat some African sushi. Maybe have some African wine with that, just any African wine that's not made by white people, you know the traditional stuff.
Afterwards go for a stroll in the African garden of Versailles. Maybe walk into town and admire the African baroque architecture. See some African churches from 1500 years ago and marvel at their beauty.
Or read the African Plato, or just read African historians, and their tales of all the hundreds of great African empires, civilizations going back thousands of years, a history of beautiful cities, majestic architecture, amazing art, brilliant philosophy, fascinating technology, and marvelous men.
I don't understand. Why don't they just celebrate their own history?

It must suck to have no great past that you can look to for inspiration. I can't imagine having to steal the heritage of others.
There are some cool things across Africa to pull from such as Mali, Dahomey, Zulus, and Aksum. But, you can't talk about them without mentioning slavery or genocide and African peoples were always good boys who dindu nuffin, so those all have to be ignored.
Except, most black Americans weren't from those groups; they were the ones conquered by those groups. That's how their ancestors ended up enslaved in the first place.
And even when you are descended from a valiant warrior culture, the glory of that loses it's edge when said group was still living in tribal villages while the rest of the world was seeing great civilizations rise and fall.
Eh I doubt there was any significant genetic distance between the Dahmoey and their neighbors. Slaves were the descendants of the losers of that week. Shit didn't last that long in sub-Saharan Africa.. well doesn't.

That covers most of America if you go back even just a few centuries. It's why a lot of European countries get tourists [desperately] looking for some heritage when they travel over and claim to be actually Irish or Scottish or whatever. There are tv shows about this.
I don't see the comparison. The USA is a transplanted European culture that took root in North America. Those tourists really do have Irish or Scottish ancestry. Americans didn't just pop into existence, out of nowhere, in North America. Three hundred years ago, or often less, their ancestors really were in those lands and their descendants really do have (distant) relatives there.
That's quite different from baselessly claiming that your ancestors were the real inhabitants, and the current ones are just pretenders.
I think that it largely is due to how most black Americans (and Americans generally) are almost completely ignorant of African history. So they latch onto pop culture historical elements and try to claim them as their own. Like how they claim that the Egyptian pyramids were built by black people and that the pharaohs were black yet they don't even know what ziggurats are, let alone who built them and how they play into Egyptian history.
They're not just ignorant of history. They're ignorant in general. Because they're literally stupid. Average IQ of 80, and that's being generous.

He was only mentioned in Jesuit chronicles he was never mentioned in Nobunaga's poems which suggests he didnt exist and also Jesuits were known to make things up , . And even if he were to exist, he definitely wouldn't have been a samurai .that title was hereditary

Is not even that, they claim black people invented the Samurai and the Ninjas and you could only be a Samurai if you had some black in you.
This is one of the completely off the rails theory like black people built up Europe and then white people erased history.
Its just another facet of the black conspiracy theories, like how the black hebrew israelites claim that black people are the descendents of the biblical israelites and are the true jews.

A black guy from what would now be Morocco, probably a slave to the priests, and someone whose language skills would have included mostly broken Portuguese, supposedly learned the second most difficult language on earth in three months. For reference, Japanese has three goddamn formal alphabets.
There is nothing about the story that is historically credible. There is more evidence of Santa Claus than there is of Yasuke. Now if you want a Japanese historical figure that is actually interesting and actually real, I suggest Honda Tadakatsu. He's a real life Hercules.

There was this stupid and insipid “research project” at the local art museum years ago that tried to claim that famous Egyptian art actually originated in Southern Africa (so the Egyptians appropriated it) and gave examples like two dolls, made of straw (ironically yellow) with 2 hands, feet and, gasp, spikey hair.
Not because basic grass doll technique is universally discoverable?! Naah - it’s cultural appropriation and they wuz kangs. Since then the art museum (which has a high reputation even for a small city) has floundered and become nothing more than stupidly woke and has to make money using cheap tricks to stay afloat as there’s constant infighting that the board and employees are never woke enough.
