I appreciate how a supposed veteran really appreciates a made up category of guns.

Writing an op-ed for the NYT? Really?

2018 too. How was this guy ever elected? Is he in a purple district? (No, it's Trump +8.)

He's a disabled veteran who lost both legs to an IED. He's wrong about the idea of an "assault weapon" ban, but maybe that's stupidity and not malice.

It's practically a red flag if a politician is a veteran these days. Republican voters will eat that shit up so they can throw an even bigger turd out there than usual.

It really depends on how much they lean on that vet thing. The rest are conscious symbols you are choosing to show your desires, whereas a vet doesn't necessarily have to be a Dan Crenshaw or John McCain cuck.

It's not unequivocally a red flag, but it's something that should draw extra scrutiny. Most of these congress critters get picked out by handlers connected to the party anyway. They rarely just spontaneously decide to run. You can bet the head hunters consider veteran status a major boon.

Yeah that's a solid way to put it.

But in the case of legit regular guys running, they can be vets and be fine. However if that's their entire platform and drawing point then its a major problem.

Nah that one stays. Drug pushers are degenerates helping the government's welfare schemes because they're losers incapable of honest work

Where's a Duterte sticker when you need one?

They mostly killed (alleged) drug addicts.

"My orders are to the police and military, also village officials, that if there is trouble or the situation arises that people fight and your lives are on the line, shoot them dead." - On April 1, 2020, Duterte issues a shoot-to-kill order against coronavirus lockdown troublemakers

I no longer attribute anything to stupidity in this era. The consistency of the behavior indicates malice at this point.

Reminds me of Dan " zyclops McStain Jr" Crenshaw. Quisling RINOs need to be primaried.

Don't attribute to stupidity what can be attributed to malice

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– AntonioOfVenice 1 point 3 years ago +1 / -0

Not quite, because you should assume that every politician is malicious.

The question is, why is this one not doing what you want? Focus on that, rather than on such attributions.

It's not Democrats vs. Republicans.

It's swamp vs. patriots.

Blackmailed vs. free.

Get it right, this isn't hard.

While this is true, it is obscured by the fact that 99.9% of elected Democrats are uniparty fags while "only" like 95% of elected Republicans are.

People are desperate to cling to the idea that Team Republican can or will save them because they're not ready for the nightmarish reality that we are on our own and no one is coming to help.

I love how innocuous the Firearms Policy Coalition sounds. Brandon Herrera trolled anti-gun protestors into signing up for their email list while condemning the NRA. It was some good shit.

Also, just checked and, somewhat surprising, FPC is a charity through Humble Bundle. Humble is cucked, but if anyone is still buying through them occasionally, FPC is an option for charity, for those interested. It's under FPC Action Foundation which, as far as I can tell, is their legal arm. They seem to file a lot of cases together.

Don't all their organizations sound innocuous?

Atlantic Council
Planned Parenthood
Innocence Project

You don't go around calling yourself "The Ministry of Torture". You call yourself "The Ministry of Love".

I meant more compared to the National Rifle Association, which sounds slightly less innocuous...but also just has a much bigger profile. Everyone knows what the big bad NRA does.

FPC and NAGR are the best IMO. After that, there's 2AF and GOA but, last I checked, they were trending towards the NRA status with some of the language they use.

Unfortunately they would most likely try to drone strike you. Pre 2014 that had no problem hitting Americans from the air for alleged crimes with no trial in other countries.

Stop focusing on federal elections and focus pn your states

Elect real local leaders or hell run yourselves and get enough states to invoke Article V and get a constitutional convention and circumvent the feds who are all bought by the WEF

Focus on both?

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 5 ▼
– AntonioOfVenice 5 points 3 years ago +5 / -0

Focus on both, but he's right, though.

You can exert much more influence on a local level, so your efforts will have more effect per unit of energy. Though his proposed solution is crazy. It's guaranteed that you will get something worse with a constitutional convention.

That's why I really want DeSantis to stay in FL and not run for president. (and I don't even live in FL) The states are more powerful than they know.

If you still think Republicans are on your side, you get what you deserve.

How many times do you need to see the establishment work together against the public for your to realise that there is no good political party at this stage? Are there decent individuals? Sure, but it's simply not enough, and doesn't justify a party at large.

The Republicans are controlled opposition. Their purpose is to push the same politics, only slower. Their purpose is to boil the frog, and you're the frog. Turning to politicians is beyond naïve.
