We live in a Marxist dystopia where your guilt is inversely proportional to the criminality of your ethnic demographic. This is the inevitable outcome of disparate impact theory. When you “flatten the outcome” for groups that behave differently, you punish the innocent and acquit the guilty. There’s no other way to achieve “equity” in law enforcement.

One of the reasons why I think it was dropped was both the Mayor (who's a cuck himself to leftist shit) and the Sheriff/Deputy that had to make the arrest both said he should NOT be charged.
It also helps the bodega worker has the diversity charge - can't call him a murderer if he's not white. If he looked like Zimmerman? This guy would be crucified.
He was the least bad option in the Democratic field (and the media compared him to Trump for his troubles).

This is good, but scary because it was obviously done due to the public outrage over the case.
We can be pretty sure if the bodega worker had been white, public opinion would have been much different and this guy would have been railroaded.
He was probably only charged in the first place because the guy he killed was black, and the DA assumed his prosecution would be popular due to BLM. If the guy he killed was white, he would have never been charged.
A lot of leftists probably like this outcome because basing the decision off of the popular opinion “democratizes” it. This is a demonstration of why it is a fucking terrible idea to apply “democracy” to everything like the left wants.

What you are probably thinking of is the judge in the case significantly reduced his bail last week. Originally, the DA wanted the bail to be $500,000, but the judge said that was entirely unreasonable for a first time offender who was claiming self-defense, so reduced it to $50,000.
