Man, Resident Evil just can't catch a break as far as live-action adaptations go.
The animes are the best. Compared to the modern live action drivel the Milla Jovovich films are high art.
The mills jovovich movies aren’t far off of the tone of the more recent games imo. The second one was the only one that really stunk
I have never seen the movies but I have seen a clip a friend of mine showed me with an Umbrella guy going we are going to destroy we world. That scene alone was 100x better than this dribble piss they are pretending is resident evil. I don't know about the rest of the movies but they are probably crap though.

No, LJN didn't make games bad because they hated their audience. They made games bad because they were lazy. That is infinitely better.

Resident Evil Apocalypse. The second re movie with milla was pretty much the only decent movie and the only one that remotely resembled resident evil. And because it had a hot jill valentine. Really hot.
Let's face it: Kate Beckinsale was the only reason the films even did well.

Games wise, 7 and 8 were barely Resident Evil games. I actually liked 6 for what it was worth but it was a departure in terms of gameplay from previous games. At least it had characters form previous games other than Chris though (he's my favorite character, but the lack of other regulars was odd.)
What have they done to it? I haven’t played RE since Nemesis. I saw the original movie but I can only imagine what they’ve done now
There were some animated RE movies that were decent to pretty good.

Resident Evil, as a franchise, has had more terrible parts to it than Sonic.
No one should have expected anything out of this show.
