I want to know to what extent Twitter misrepresents its bot activity, but not as badly as advertisers who paied Twitter want to know.
I hope it crashes more than 6% on open, if it levels at 6, that’s disappointing honestly

Apparently Twitter refused numerous times to provide data Musk and his lawyers required and sent him incomplete or meaningless information whenever they were forced to provide data about spam/bot accounts.
lotta stuff happening.. abe assassinated. twitter deal fell through. yugioh creator died.
One of those things is not like the others.
Georgia Guidestones got hit by totally not a RPG.
I dunno man. Takahashi had a (((shark bite))).
Twitter stock won't be worth 44 cents by the end of next week.
I don't disagree, but Twitter's entire corporate structure is effectively complicit in defrauding advertisers. Profitability aside, just how useful can they be to the elite now that Musk has forced them to reveal that? They'll be in and out of court for years.
This is a major black eye to the establishment, and it's one they should have been able to prevent by preventing Musk's takeover effort in the early stages.
There is also a tendency on the right to characterize the globalist cabal as a hyper-competent network of Machiavellian evil geniuses playing 6-d Chess, but the reality is that they are desperately floundering, often incompetent, and generally scrambling to cover over their failures before they become too obvious. The only thing they really have going for them is their effectively unlimited resources. It won't be sustainable forever.
I have to disagree on this specific point, solely because they know that the average dumbfuck doesn't want to accept reality even if it stares them in the face, because it's too bitter of a pill to swallow. Denial is their coping mechanism of choice, and I think the elites know that. So while they put some effort into denial, it's more like a literal handwave, which is apparently enough for the vast, vast majority of normies.
Otherwise, I agree with the other points.
That’s the only reason Twitter’s still going. It generates all kinds of money, just not as a company itself.
What other reason does it need?
Maybe it's even better for them now. He brought thousands of right-wing and independent users back to the platform, and they even conveniently unbanned many who had been previously banned without warning. Many of those people will lazily stay on it, generating more activity for them.
I wonderif they're going to ban him in retaliation.
Probably. Especially after that Veritas leak. Probably for criminal misconduct or something.
This might be a game of negotiations though. Twitter is already trying to take legal action to force Musk to buy it for the terms originally stated. There may be some back and forth until Musk gets a better price and "settles" with a lower price.
Its corporations and rich fucks playing games, all the while people are dancing and ranting around the bonfire about it.
Exactly. People keep treating this like it's the end "no takesies backsies!", but the spotlight he's put on the bot problem isn't going away for Twitter. The shareholders are going to see a MASSIVE deal slip away and start asking very angry questions.
Everyone is talking about "pinning hopes" or Musk "fixing" Twitter, but I'm sure a vast majority would be happy with it just losing its perception as the court of "public opinion". Just getting a glimpse of how little of the interaction was genuine and some of the shady manipulation that goes on behind the scenes has been invaluable. The amount of suppression for 'verboten' accounts vs boosting of 'approved' accounts was staggering.
Nothing is stopping Elon from "trying again" (as if this couldn't also be part of his play) when the stock price is much, much lower. $44B was the opening bid, but they'd be lucky to get a fraction of that on a second deal.
It was so pathetic seeing people tag him in tweets, pinning their hopes on a liberal to come save them. Trump 2.0 and lots of people fell for it.
Oh, piss off. I had lots of fun mining the raw MOUNTAINS OF SALT he generated, whichis probably what he wanted to do the whole time.
Twitter would rather keep it's estimated 70% bot amount and maintain a leftist stronghold, than gain 44 billion dollars from someone they don't like and literally go and make Twitter 2. Absolute fucking geniuses over there.
Fuck.
Elon embarrassed and devalued Twitter during this whole process so it’s still a win.
Wow. I was sure he was wrong as of last week, but Raz0rFist has every right to gloat.
As a side note, this is still a positive for competitors like Gab, Truth Social, and well, Scored too?
Don't worry. He is know to be gracious when proven right.

Holy shit, there's a 10hr version? Noice!
Probably. Anything that hurts Twitter helps alternatives.
Is this the promised end?
Yeah, Twitter is in a unique place that is has kept up the appearance as just this company that exists but it has so many politicians across every nation plugged into it, among other powerful forces, that there is 0% chance they don't have fingers deep in it. Even if its just for security reasons.
figures
lmao
no fiat money for fiat ideologues
All the people that were trying to be edgy on twatter thinking Elon would magically unban them in a few weeks must be feeling a bit blue right about now.
I imagine things are going to get spicy leading up to the mid-terms now that the blurple haired DNC minions on the "trust and safety" team have been given the weapons free order.
I'm laying in a fresh stockpile of popcorn.
