Oh, for a TON of this stuff, not just with marvel, they make so little money that a bunch of them have been trying to cancel it but are afraid of the backlash. League of legends is a great example as they had plans for an entire "pride month" event but backpedalled once they noticed a 30% drop in playtime for that month.

These are races older than Earth, or at least modern Earth civilizations. The rainbow is a symbol of travel, not of sex acts, to them.
