From around 2005 to 2016 I filled 2-3 tb a year of movies and TV in mostly 1080p of stuff that I would consider both worth watching once and wouldn't mind watching again if someone else wanted to.
Post 2016 I've found maybe a total of 3tb worth keeping.
All you need to do to derail their social engineering project is stop consuming.
Netflix is doing a pretty good job seeing to that between the price hike and drop in their catalog.
