Yeah, I just saw that. Expect the number of people identifying as degenerates to explode. The only real choice that anyone with morals has is to get in on the grift or move. Every day stories like this give me motivation to find a nice red state to move to. It's not that bad where I am but the writing is on the wall.

It already is. The amount of people identifying as "LGBT" is blowing up because you get privilege for it

A UBI field test. How quaint. I can't wait to see all the mental gymnastics people will perform when it fails, which it inevitably will because there's no part of Universal Basic Income that makes sense.

"It didn't work nationally because it will only work if it's done internationally!"

"It didn't work internationally because internationally some people are doing different work than others!"

"It didn't work with uniform country work levels because the work wasn't decided by a unified government!"

"It didn't work with a one world order because the subjects selected to be mandatory slave labor for the rest didn't work hard enough!"

"It didn't work with mandatory slave labor because the slave and master castes didn't breed at government-approved rates!"

"The forced human breeding program didn't work because apparently no one except communists are actually into that shit IRL unless you wreck their brains first."

"The propaganda program is working. Praise be to Dear Leader. We die in droves every day, but having been forbidden to report on it, all reports are that all are good. Praise to Dear Leader."

Problem is: It won't fail. It hasn't failed in other field tests. Because they do not test UBI, they just give some people money and look if their lives got better. That's not UBI.

It would be UBI if everyone got it, in which case the 900 would be equivalent to zero today.

The part where they use it to control people is where it makes sense. Can't very well expect people to revolt when they're entirely reliant on the government to survive. That's the plan obviously, but it's also obviously unsustainable. Communism itself is unsustainable, but that certainly won't stop them trying.

Out of morbid curiosity, what twisted reasoning did they come up with to pretend this isn't an equal protection violation?

permalink save report block reply

They were driven solely by hatred of normal people. I don't think they bothered trying to deal with equal protection issues. This will be slam dunk lawsuit if they're able to get an honest appeals court panel or get it before SCOTUS. Not even Chief Justice Cuckold would uphold something this repugnant to the Constitution.

Simple, anyone who opposes will be labeled a transphobe and will be canceled from society.

"Transgender Americans suffer extremely high rates of under and unemployment. Transgender Americans face enormous challenges living full and authentic lives," the mayor said. "Those challenges have increased substantially in the past few years as transgender children and their families have been targeted by extremist legislators and governors."

The suffer because they're mentally ill. That's it.

And no legislation has been passed that has anything to do with making or harder for trannies to work. It's all focused on preventing child abuse. Most trannies are just lazy, entitled cunts.

no legislation has been passed that has anything to do with making or harder for trannies to work

It's quite the opposite really. On an informal basis they do have a harder time because any sane employer knows that hiring a tranny is a recipe for a toxic work environment and a big fat lawsuit filled the brim with false allegations. So they're limited to woke shitholes in practice. But that's really their own doing. If they weren't so fucking hateful and destructive their degenerate "identity" would be an advantage considering how many employers fetishize "diversity".

The new pilot program will have $200,000 set aside for allocation after a unanimous vote by the Palm Springs City Council last week.

Uh, yeah, this program will run out of money after one month.

Holy shit man, 900 USD is more than what I make monthly (converting currency straight up). I should emigrate to Palm springs, have an anchor baby and declare xir gender fluid non binary. Beats working for a living in a third world country.

Palm Springs will set aside $200,000 for the program

$200,000 is literal pennies for something like this.

This is going to a minute handful of people, which means it's going to people who have sex with officials and nobody else.

The city stated that the program is only for individuals who meet a poverty threshold.

LA tried a similar program a while back and the grift is that the super poor targeted by these things aren’t likely to be the types to wait in line and do a bunch of complicated paperwork. They’re too busy bussing tables and taking public transit to and from work for this to be on their radar. Either that or they’re mentally ill transients.

Surely somebody will sue to stop this from going forward? It's blatantly unconstitutional. Not that the courts will do the right thing these days...

It's tough because anyone filing a lawsuit has to choose between a Commiefornia state court and the federal court which is part of the 9th Circuit. It would be malpractice not to try though. This case has a better chance than average of getting SCOTUS attention, and not even Chief Justice Cuckold would vote to uphold this monstrosity.

Tar and feces are good decorations... Basic income will inflate the market, but it'd be funny if all that inflation was just slicking the streets with stank. Fitting, even.

If you identify as multi-persona-gender, do you get $900/m for each of your personality? That would be pretty multiphobic if not

That's a lottery program and a waste of tax dollars.

That's a stupid question if you know anything about Palm Springs.

Palm Springs was at least 30% explicitly homosexual as of 2007. I can only imagine it's much higher at this point.

This story has been updated to include the city's statement that the program is only for transgender and nonbinary individuals who meet a poverty threshold.
