For my hobbies, I actually found the subreddits for those aren’t total cesspools, but outside of those, I glance through r/assholedesign and r/ABoringDystopia, just to see how pervasive ads are in our daily lives and goddamn data collection is terrible. I stopped with politics ages ago, but until my account gets banned, I’m gonna use it.

nope, deleted my account shortly after .win opened - the signal to noise ratio went way down post trump and they started banning everyone who wasn't full-retard commie
same thing happend to slashdot back in the day
Nah, haven't been to reddit since I moved here. Used to go to a lot of smaller subreddits but why bother engaging in hobby subreddits when its only a matter of time till they get taken over by activist mods?
It's not even fully a mod problem. It's the users. There's something off about reddit comments. Even on subjects that don't touch politics or pop culture, like on some of the paranormal subs, there's this distinctly uncanny feel. It's unpleasant to read and I can't exactly place my finger on what's so wrong with the redditors. It's like some kind of ephemeral "wholesome big chungus" sheen of faggotry or something*
Maybe it's just a consequence of writing while knowing you can never be called a retarded nigger faggot that needs to kysys. I dunno
They are NPCs to an extreme level.
dumbass, thats exactly the problem.
faggot retards remove every post that isnt super-gay. posters with unique ideas are banned and shadowed. the only remaining comments (and upvotes) are from retarded niggars.
thats the reddit of today.
I was linked to a thread by my little brother recently. I was struck by how authoritatively the users spoke regarding other people's opinions. Naturally, everyone just agreed with them and dissent didn't really happen. You're crazy for thinking any differently.
And it was just a meme about people not liking characters in a game. I shudder to even think about what goes on in any political or reality based subreddits....
I got perma'd for "ban evasion" on LockdownSkepticism so I can't even go to the KiA3 reddit if I wanted to
Any idea what for?
LS is really the last subreddit I visit.
The mods used to have more "no anti-vax, no mask skepticism, we are not a conspiracy sub" official policy, but as COVID skepticism has become more mainstream, they don't seem to be enforcing much as much as I can tell.
Expect that sub to go full TDS in the run-up to the 2024 election if Trump runs again. It'll be all about how the left really knew all along that the lockdowns didn't work but went along with it out of "unity", and mean ol' Trump took advantage and politicized it.
Interesting prediction.
At least presently, leftist views aren't very prominent or welcome there.
Of course, the mods still pretend that COVID isn't a partisanship issue and their official position is that it's a sub about "scientific evidence".
So you are probably right that anything that isn't explicitly rignt wing inevitably becomes subverted by the left.
Ban evasion from reddit admin. I forgot I was banned on my main for calling someone a retard there while shitposting around reddit on an alt.
Incidentally I was also calling someone a leftist retard with my alt. Though I was a little more polite than that so probably was for "non-partisan sub"
Gotcha.
So nothing to do with the mods.
Right from the top.
theyve begun banning people for saying the no no f word, or talking about trannies
If you haven't been permabanned from reddit, I dunno what you're doing.
Noped, removed all my posts, kept the account, installed PIA, uBlock and block every known reddit adserver addresss.
I still visit, but they get no "impressions" out of me.
I visit mensrights and socialjusticeinaction sometimes, plus the churchofcovid subreddit.
That's about it.
When the KiA2 sub went private I just started coming here full-time. I tried keeping up with the latest ClownWorldWar replacement subs for awhile, but they'd only survive a few days before getting nuked.
I'm banned from at least a dozen subs, and I've unsubbed from all the default ones at this point.
I still use it, but even in small/right leaning subs it's impossible to truly escape the hordes of leftoid mongrels that screech their creed.
I deleted my account after .win opened but I still read kia, kia2 and sometimes r/Conservative.
I used to to go to r/journeysinthedark but that sub is dead, the woke "not third" edition is trash
Nah, its a horrible platform to comment on. and Barely readable. every single sub is astroturfed now.
it Really sucks. and all the science about trannies is censored. imo spez is a secretive tranny
Yes. One must always watch your opponent. Plus, there are a few places I can still get a laugh from.
Nope.
ChurchOfCovid + AntiHateCommunities are the only parts of reddit where free speech is still allowed
I have a number of nonpolitical accounts for things like gaming subs but I haven't used them since at least the new year and most likely way before that. I do lurk in TIA and SJIA because those are the only subs that allow somewhat open discussion of the tranny problem. There are still some niche subs that the wokies haven't infested but you have to weigh that against posting on the site Spez and his buddies at r/AHS use as a kiddy porn exchange.
Mostly hobby stuff. Castlevania, Metroidvania, gifs, unexpected, and Zelda are my usuals.
There isn't anything I care to read anymore, so I didn't need to keep ban evading.
Not seriously. Occasionally I'll go watch the apes fight or harass the mods with reports. I don't otherwise participate though.
I look at stuff where politics hasn’t seemed to seep in. r/cats, and r/dachshund are a couple of examples. Certain other special interest subs like aviation and horology type subs too. That’s it.
But the minute those get politicized I’m out.
I don't have an account anymore but occasionally check a few places. I'll probably check KiA2 once it's no longer private. I also sometimes end up there when I search for gaming stuff.
The accusation that .win contains actual reddit users (or people who used reddit after 2015) appears to be valid. Reddit users are pedophiles and/or their supporters. You can't provide views or content to reddit without falling into one or both categories.
