For my hobbies, I actually found the subreddits for those aren’t total cesspools, but outside of those, I glance through r/assholedesign and r/ABoringDystopia, just to see how pervasive ads are in our daily lives and goddamn data collection is terrible. I stopped with politics ages ago, but until my account gets banned, I’m gonna use it.

It's not even fully a mod problem. It's the users. There's something off about reddit comments. Even on subjects that don't touch politics or pop culture, like on some of the paranormal subs, there's this distinctly uncanny feel. It's unpleasant to read and I can't exactly place my finger on what's so wrong with the redditors. It's like some kind of ephemeral "wholesome big chungus" sheen of faggotry or something*
Maybe it's just a consequence of writing while knowing you can never be called a retarded nigger faggot that needs to kysys. I dunno
They are NPCs to an extreme level.
dumbass, thats exactly the problem.
faggot retards remove every post that isnt super-gay. posters with unique ideas are banned and shadowed. the only remaining comments (and upvotes) are from retarded niggars.
thats the reddit of today.
I was linked to a thread by my little brother recently. I was struck by how authoritatively the users spoke regarding other people's opinions. Naturally, everyone just agreed with them and dissent didn't really happen. You're crazy for thinking any differently.
And it was just a meme about people not liking characters in a game. I shudder to even think about what goes on in any political or reality based subreddits....
