Socialism = collectivism control of labour and the means of production. What they neglect to tell you is that the mean of produciton is not tools or mineral wealth, its human labour.
Think about it, an unmanned factory produces nothing, but you send a man with a stick into the forest and in a few months you will have a residence.

Just look at how these types have openly scorned "rednecks" and "hillbillies" for decades. They just hate any working-class person. All because the elites told them they were lazy and stupid in order to kill off any sympathy when they wanted to bring in tons of illegals and VISA-holding contractors to drive down wages.
Not just truckers, everyone. These are manchildren who have never been told no when growing up, their shitty parents catered to their every whim. Now they're physically grown up, emotionally stunted, and they demand that society as a whole keeps doing what their mommy and daddy did. They see everyone as a utility that only exists to serve them. They're narcissists.
In a sane society this wouldn't be a problem, because these people would be extremely rare and serve as a warning to others; adults would scorn them and children would throw eggs and rotten fruit at them if they dared show their faces in civilization. In clown world, these people are the majority of the electorate.
A society cannot be sustained by members with this level of ignorance. Whether you phrase it as "oh China is going to eat our lunch" or "2nd Civil War coming", it's clear that America has become decadent, and its citizens are enjoying a level of privilege that is simply undue. America is burning through the "capital" built up by previous generations. I'm afraid only hard times can build strong men again. Lamenting it is like lamenting a tide coming in to flood your sand fort.

Irony, class 1 training you can do when you're 18 in AB and just involves taking a course, and you can drive anything with axles, including Ambulances, Buses, Emergency vehicles, Motorcycles, eighteen-wheelers and farm equipment. One of the highest paying careers for the least amount of education/investment required.

This is what happens when a small number of truckers causes disruptions. Imagine if every trucker either went on strike or if someone told them in no uncertain terms "if you deliver to the cities we'll be waiting outside and will torch your truck"
That would require the rugged individuals of the countryside to actually come together and organize as a group. One of the flaws in that theory...
There is, actually. Capitulate to their demands, and the spice will flow once more. "Give the truckers what they want" is a law you can pass. But you don't want to consider that, eh?
