I used to be on thedonald, actually prior to here. Once it got around the beginning of the year it started to feel way too much of an echo chamber to me. I'm gaming and general nerd type on top of my worldview, so this was a good fit.
If I'm having to quote the approved opinion word for word just to be allowed to upgrade from insults to discussion, then that's not really discussion at all. I don't see a ton of that here unless the attempts at discussion are just really low effort to the point they appear more like a troll.

The Patriots folks mean well. They ARE on the right side of history backing Trump but they have a blind devotion to him that makes them unable to see his flaws. When the election was stolen from him we were on this sub heavily criticizing him for botching what should've been a pretty easy victory and letting Big Tech fuck him over, even when he had people like Jim Jordan and Ted Cruz yelling in his ear that SOMETHING must be done about Section 230.
He also botched it by not pushing through as much shit as possible when he had a Republican supermajority in the House and Senate.
