The Patriots folks mean well. They ARE on the right side of history backing Trump but they have a blind devotion to him that makes them unable to see his flaws. When the election was stolen from him we were on this sub heavily criticizing him for botching what should've been a pretty easy victory and letting Big Tech fuck him over, even when he had people like Jim Jordan and Ted Cruz yelling in his ear that SOMETHING must be done about Section 230.
He also botched it by not pushing through as much shit as possible when he had a Republican supermajority in the House and Senate.
The only problem is there aren't too many candidates that have his kind of "fuck you" money and power to replace him in the next election, and the "he can do no wrong" mentality (even though he's right most of the time) is really detrimental to their cause.
In the same boat on his flaws. But he loves America and so far is the only one since Reagan in recent memory to govern in a way where I feel represented. So for that I support that sub’s enthusiasm, just not their bitterness.
It's because so many still don't realize Trump was bait that it's clear there's no solution. It's like going to a cattle farm and pointing out the cows could take over and save themselves if they only woke up and took certain actions.
[swishes tail] "Bro, did you see the new farm manager yesterday? He's definitely on our side. I'll stamp my hooves for him anyday!" [chews cud]
Sure, but that's never going to happen, because they're cows. Stand way back from the current human population and observe. The behavioral parallels are striking.
Dude, exaggerate much? Republican supermajority?
They had a majority of what, five people? That doesn’t help you when you have more than five rinos who don’t want you there in the first place.
Don’t you remember when he tried to replace Obamacare? How did he fail with the amazing Republican supermajority? Here’s the headline:
