So we have red states banning CRT and blue states mandating it. Children educated in different states will be culturally and socially incompatible with each other. Not only will they have no shared history or tradition, but their values and morality will be diametrically opposed. There will be no coexistence between these peoples.

The issue is that red states are banning something they've already mandated under a different name in most states. In education it's called Social Emotional Learning, which was sold as a way to help children develop character, emotional growth, and tolerance, but has quickly morphed into outright CRT. It's a rather insidious alliance of lobbyists, curriculum providers, and activists.

In Florida, Based DeSantis has even put that on the chopping block. Obama's corporate indoctrination 'Common Core' is all but gone.

It depends on how the law is written. As long as they ban specific things they should be good.

The 1A prevents them from doing much but halting affirmation of the curriculum. Essentially, as long as the curriculum isn't graded, it's likely to be found constitutionally protected. Liberty only works in a moral population, unfortunately.

Liberty only works in a moral population, unfortunately.

This is increasingly the conclusion I'm coming to and it's quite depressing really.

Why? It makes the solution quite clear. Do what you can legally to protect yourself, but don't fall into the trap of believing the legal system is the answer. The answer is to return to Christianity and develop morality again. For yourself, your family, and your friends.

Knowing that means you won't waste your time on things that don't work.

This has nothing to do with 1A. If parents dont want this shit to be taught, they have every right to demand it be removed.

If removing it violates state curriculum mandates, the school system risks their accreditation and their funding. If the state bars it through mandate, it risks 1A litigation. The left is pretty good at working the system to impose their will.

True but it is sad how motivated the right is by financial concerns. If you don't take the government funding, if you pool together resources to fund things yourself, then who cares what they think?

The state and fed will still take the resources, though. They just won't return it if you don't let them attach their strings. Those become resources unavailable for pooling.

That's quite strange. It really shouldn't, but I'm not surprised that that would be the courts' fucked up interpretation of 1A. (and yet, we can't have prayer in schools?)

and yet, we can't have prayer in schools?

You can, it just can't be promoted by a state agent. CRT is a secular religion, but it's not viewed as such legally, granting it a lot of flexibility.

Don't assume this will continue for 18 years.

At the rate this shit is going, we're already in the endgame.

I bet that when several kids who reject the regressive leftist propaganda get expelled, the next school shootings in these schools are going to be political terrorist attacks rather than apolitically motivated rampage killings.

Pray that the kids still have enough sanity to "discriminate".

Feminism causes school shootings. The essence of men is violence. They need to made competent in it so that they use it appropriately, with restraint at the right time. Boys need a father to demonstrate it and guide them in it's use, as well as ample opportunity to practice casual violence amongst peers. Feminism is removing both of these, which can cause a boy deprived of the proper enviorment to master his violent nature to lash out with inappropriate levels of violence at inappropriate times. Furthermore, the men raised in a feminist enviornment will be unable to raise a son competent in violence, creating an anti-civilizational feedback loop.

This is like the leftist equivalent of teaching Creationism in schools, except far more harmful. At least Creationism doesn't discriminate against people for their inborn characteristics. At least it instills upstanding morals instead of chipping away at them

They've been teaching it in schools for the last 3-5 years across the nation. It goes under the guise of social emotional learning (SEL). CASEL is pushing it, if anyone is curious.

And it does in school what it does in workplaces : make Whites either ashamed of their race, or rightfully angry at the institutional racism and overt discrimination targetted at them ( kids being more submissive, shame it'll be ).

And non-Whites constantly on the lookout for "microagressions" and growing entitled regardless of merit.

Private schools or homeschooling are the only way kids are going to be able to get an education in blue states.

What is your solution to education? My nieces were homeschooled and they are great but there is a large network of homeschooled kids in the area so the have a lot of socializing. I don’t fault parents for homeschooling or private school.

The Seattle is spreading to other cities too. This whole state is falling in on itself and turning into an Indian caste society. Will be leaving soon.
