If Christianity gets wiped off from the West, of course it's going to be replaced by "science, logic and reason", which brings us to what is going on in our world. No masks, no jabs, you're not part of the cult, you're a heretic!
Now you're seeing the world that the likes of Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, Sam Harris, Carl Benjamin, TJ Kincade, Vee and many other Youtube skeptics and atheists have been building for decades. Do you still want to live in this world where "science, logic and reason" replaced Christianity?
But they literally utilize none of the above.

Had a neighbor like that. Had a real puzzled look on their face when I said it’s a good thing then that science is a rational process that produced data that is repeatable and either verifiable or falsifiable. It doesn’t require belief it require data.
Our homegrown Bolshevik revolutionaries are far more dangerous to America than China.

They're all dead by now and didn't achive much in their lifetime (some/many turned anti-communist later, teaming up with early Soviet defectors in America).
Original Antifa were Stalinists, today they're Anarcho-Maoists in the tradition of the Red Guards.
Uyghur...
The problem is that they're not even living under the principles of "science, logic, and reason." They've just simply discarded one religion for another. Social justice may not have a god per se, but it still has all the hallmarks, like original sin, rules of morality, and excommunication. And as is very common, those who convert tend to become the biggest zealots of all.
Their religion also has deities. One of their gods is Fauci. Their devil? I guess pro-vaccine operation warp speed Trump is too obvious but nobody else comes to mind.
Black Panther is jesus and Wakanda is heaven with their wonderful St. Floyd.
Other features:
Eschatology in the form of environmental disaster and doomsday prophets
Martyrs in the form of George Floyd and friends
But it isn't really about logic, reason, and the scientific method, they're right back to Wisdom Handed Down From On High. Hell, most of the language that's been flouted around lately have come straight from old-school cults. What we're seeing is basically all the cult fodder people out in the open, and normalized. And the human ape is VERY cult-minded.
Science, logic, and reason are tools for understanding the universe. They do not provide meaning the way religion does. But the idea of "Science" has been turned into a cult by fools who don't understand that they don't understand what science is, but think they're smarter than all those dumb religious rubes.
People with no self-awareness will always be susceptible to cult-like behavior.
I realized this years ago, when perusing r/atheism, and seeing a group that was just as dogmatic, bigoted, and intolerant (and often far more hateful) as the religious people they constantly mocked.
If you don't learn how to think, you will be told what to think, and you won't have the cognitive tools to reject bad ideas. This is the road towards a new dark age of superstition, tribalism, and violence, and it is a road we are clearly heading down right now.
The atheism movement of r/atheism fell to the SJW before GG. At about 2 years in the IRL conferences had them stating their privileges before speaking.
People have been using using "science" for decades (if not more) to bash people and force their opinion. "99% of scientists," ya-da-yah-da. It's consensus building based on pressure rather than understanding. It's a tool to characterize their opponents, and address themselves as in the right, while silencing the debate and exploration that is required for actual science and discovery. If you question, then you're a crackpot, because "99%" believes, and if a scientist disagrees, then they left 1% open for them.
If people actually cared, they'd explore the full issues surrounding the problem, and come up with a solution that best addresses them, rather than ramrodding something through that will only cause further issues. That, and the "environmental" issue has been used as a communist front for decades. It always ended up being about redistributing wealth. China's benefited greatly as it's exempt from carbon pricing, so it's now producing as much as every developed country combined, while producing those same countries products. The product gets made anyway, but you're not punished if you make it in China. If there was legitimacy, this would have been prevented before the world drowned the time before last.

The psychopath progressives on the left have turned "science" into a religious cult.
These clowns don't understand that science is a method that relies on producing data that supports or demonstrates that a hypothesis is false.
These clowns nowadays foolishly say the science is settled.
They view the corrupt corporate bought "scientists" and "academics" as the high priests of today.
Clowns inflicted with TDS like Sam Harris have allowed atheism to turn into the horrors of atheism plus.
I personally believe in God and thus have never really liked atheists.
The atheists of today make me miss the atheists of the past.
Atheists today are a cult.
Atheists today are a dead group.
Starting with the elevatorgate hoax, their sites got taken over by regressive leftists who ran them into the ground when the site owners themselves went regressive, leaving the community to wither and die while several personalities aligned themselves with the fledging anti-regressive movement in anger towards these freaks
I have seen the face of the Antichrist, and it is filled with soy.
None of those people built this, or want it. That's a ridiculous statement. They did, however, build the world that allowed others to build what we have now. They simply did not realise how many people practically demand an authority that tells them what to think.
They thought that without Christianity, everyone would think for themselves. They didn't think that people would instead let the media dictate their every opinion to them.
I do, but I now realise that everyone with sub 110 IQ has to be killed in order for it work.
Soon™
Same mistake Roddenberry made, and everyone like him.
They overestimated the human species.
They should have known better. The idea of the cognitive miser has been around since 1984.
Perhaps IQ is the wrong metric. Maybe a measurement of the jaw bone would be better.
Christopher Hitchens was a Marxist. Sam Harris has full-blown TDS, as does Penn Jillette. Richard Dawkins is in full support of draconian Covid measures.
I'm not saying that these men are stupid; they're not. But they have their own set of moral and intellectual blindspots.
I'll give you the others, but,
In his youth, yes. Until he became disillusioned and saw leftism going horribly wrong. By the last years of his life, the neoliberal progressives viewed him as a neocon, of all things.

even the biggest neckbeard fedora wearing atheist, Dawkins, mentioned that Christianity was a "bulwark against something worse". Thats all the congeniality you will get out of him.
He also likes religious music like Christmas carols. He should've seen it coming, that once you throw out Christianity, the culture goes with it. Too many New Atheists never realized religion and culture are completely entangled.
i mean.... my family is non religious and doesn't subscribe to this BS actually the commie and the woke members are more religious than others ironically. I cant help but wonder if the wokes are simply people that are mad at god or people who never learnt to live without religion and so swapped it for another secular one .
Yes it's strange to me when the more religious people are woke, since their religion specifically indicates that divisions on racial lines is wrong. Christians wouldn't bother evangelizing in Africa and the Middle East of they thought of those races as lesser beings... then again, religious people are often hypocrites. I think the problem with lack of religion though, is that stupid people don't know how to handle it, as this thread discusses.
I am also nonreligious, but I think the Christian religion as the "opiate of the masses" is/was a good thing. Christianity offers forgiveness, redemption, unconditional love, etc. Wokeness offers NONE of that, with all the same level of fervent censorship and admonishment of nonbelievers.
Atheists are the most unscientific group in existence. They constantly seem to forget you can’t prove a negative and are limited by the constraints of modern technology. Atoms were once considered crazy dogma because they weren’t observable at the time. The idea that Dawkins could prove god doesn’t exist by looking at a giraffes nervous system is the hubris of our lifetime. It takes maybe 30 seconds of looking at human history to realize the entire premise of atheism is flawed and more dogmatic than other religions.
Atheists go out of their way to attack religion, despite having no actual argument. They are the religious equivalent of the crying sjw attacking someone for voting for Trump. Dawkins used the looping of a giraffes neck design as a childish and disingenuous attack against intelligent design. Odd how he has yet to disprove phi or even attempted to. The concept of atoms was attacked consistently by “scientists” until we were able to actually prove their existence.
There was a pretty hard schism in the skeptic / atheist communities a few years back. I suspect the schism came as a result of the void that was left in the wake of removing religion.
Some filled the hole with a religious fervor for critical theory / wokeness, and these are the "I FUCKING LOVE SCIENCE!" psychos. Others retreated back to the moral foundations their cultural background was based upon. And what was the basis for those moral foundations? In the west, it's Christianity.
I find those that abandoned their adversarial relationship with Christianity much more palatable. They may still cling to their atheist identity, but the moral foundation is unmistakable.
I forget where I heard this from, maybe one of Jonathan Pageau's vids or Peterson's or someone from that sphere, anyway..
The guest was a professor who had come out with a book and in the talk he basically said we were in a sense returning to the paganism (with its Gods of vengeance, and all that entitled) of the pre-Christian world.
I'll see if I can find it later today because it was interesting, if all too depressing.
Edit: Found it! It was on Benjamin Boyce's channel. Identity and Destiny in America, with Prof. Joshua Mitchell
Nietzsche warned about this. That's what he meant when talked God being dead, and us being His murderers. He hoped that human beings could create their own, transcendent morality, becoming Ubermenschen.
I cant stand these newfag pretend science lovers
Their "science" doesn't even follow the scientific process, it's just ipse dixit with another name.
I just thought of a better way of putting it:
Science and Dogma are supposed to be two diametrically opposed things, but the cult-minded have turned "science" into dogma. And dogma doesn't need gods. It just needs a memeplex that must not be questioned (which is why it's diametrically opposed to true science - science is about questioning everything.)
It will be replaced by Islam here in Europe.
Well, look at how black supremacism already twisted Islam - the so-called "Nation of Islam".
Yes but only real science, logic, reason and I can live without all religion cause I'm not religious it's all fairytale bullbird to me
HUMAN UNDERSTANDING i.e. DELUSION i.e. STUPIDITY i.e. VANITY
This was the case prior to around 2012 when it was split in two by wokeness. The two ideologies are actually very similar, they just differ in rhetoric - wokes base their retoric on "justice" and "compassion" while neo-atheists base theirs on "science" and "reason". Ofcourse, neither has anything to do with any of these things.
Be vary careful of people who are or used to be neoatheists and are now anti-woke - the vast majority just oppose wokeness because they want to be the totalitarians in power. One exception to this is James Lindsay, who although he used to be somewhat close to the neoatheist crowd, saw through it and not only is the real deal but exposes these neoatheist dictators-in-waiting.
