Also in The Dark Knight too. I member it being a big fucking deal that Batman wanted his tech guy to hack into the phones of all of Gotham's people to find the Joker. 12 or 13 years later and that sort of tech's nothing at all.
Of course they're tracking us. But I have nothing to hide so why worry? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The globalists have systematically rotted out the culture of Western nations for decades leading us to this point. It's nice to believe they're incompetent but clearly they're doing a lot right.
The left/globalists are badly lead, prone to infighting, demonstrably insecure and thus easy to provoke, whilst being completely detached from reality. This is not a formidable enemy, indeed it's a testament to the abject of the cowardice of the right that they've somehow lost these battles.
While we are completely banned and deplatformed from even suggesting we may have alternate interests (that is: not in alignment with the Global Corporatist Order).
One of the most insightful observations I've read in recent memory was someone who said something like "we've been trained our whole lives to recognize the aesthetics of a right-wing totalitarian state, so we didn't recognize the left-wing totalitarian state when it arrived in a rainbow-colored police car with police officers who dance in a tik tok video right before they break down your door and arrest you for having too many people in your home."
It's a classic move that governments make to bring in soldiers or police who don't have any connection to a particular community to police that community.
Though after watching local cops act with that same totalitarian fervor over grandma sitting in a chair on the beach, maybe all law enforcement has become so totalitarian that doesn't matter as much anymore.
I liked it, but it was a much simpler plotline than the original which is still my favorite movie of the bunch.
Fun fact: MI:2 was the first movie I tried to pirate. Over dial-up. I think I ended up downloading a good 3 minutes of a camrip over the course of some weeks before finally giving up.
Food riots leading to pinning a war crime on a single soldier, with 100% media spin control in the government's favor? Zero accountability or investigation? This film is dead on target.
Demolition man also, online we are basically at "verbal morality statutes"
I will not eat the bugs- but I may, if push comes to shove, eat the rat.
I wondered too, why the shock?
If it's properly cooked, is there an actual risk to eating that ratburger?
I know you can't cook your meat out of a prion infection.
Contamination with chemicals and heavy metals would be the real risk in the sewers.
The 2000s Charlie's Angels movie had a bad guy to wanted to turn cellphones into tracking devices.
"Nobody could hide. Imagine if this fell into the wrong hands. It would be the end of privacy"

"I'm not doing anything illegal when I'm taking a shit, but that doesn't mean I want the government to watch me do it"
I don't remember much from Mission Impossible 2 but check Captain America: Winter Soldier in freaking 2014.
The globalists are just like hydra.
I've outgrown the MCU, but I'm still a little surprised that movie was made.
Yeah, but Hydra are competent tho.

Because their interests are aligned.
For now.
While we are completely banned and deplatformed from even suggesting we may have alternate interests (that is: not in alignment with the Global Corporatist Order).
V For Vendetta. Got the whole current timeline script down.
We are in bizarro world V for Vendetta.

It's good, but I like Morgoth's take that it's inverted reality. And that review was written 6 years ago, and things have deteriorated a lot since.
There's nothing prophetic about it.
Source? Is there more to this or is that it?
Look up William pierce.
I managed to find a copy of this video (7 minutes in for this exact part).

Thanks.
Is it really prophetic if all this has been planned for decades now?
Idiocracy, 1984. What else?
MI:2 was fucking great. Dunno why ppl hated it. Shit was badass.
Did people hate it? I know people definitely started hating it at the third film.
I thought the 3rd one was trash, tbh. Boring and they turned bad ass Ethan into a whiny scrub.
I liked it, but it was a much simpler plotline than the original which is still my favorite movie of the bunch.

Running man.
Soylent green surprisingly enough...

Oh yeah, also...
