Can you recommend me any youtubers?
posted 5 years ago by NewDay 5 years ago by NewDay +33 / -0

Throw any that you like out there, be it gaming, cooking, hardware, or just somebody behind a camera.

They can be based or nonpolitical, if you so wish. Heck, maybe there are woke youtubers whose content you still like.

If you don't like Youtube, then maybe give me creators from other sites, like Bitchute.

For politics: Asha Logos, Vertigo Politix, American Krogan

For games: Mattewmatosis, Ross Game Dungeon, Sseth, Mandalore, Jerma, Cybershell, Core-A Gaming

For history: Historia Civilis, Histocrat

General: Ashens, Baumgartner Restoration, Real Engineering, Wendover Productions

And a general group of some other political channels that I only occasionally watch: Charlemagne, Academic Agent, Blackpilled, Computing Forever, Alt Hype, Survive the Jive, Way of the World, Morgoth's Review, Intellectual Embargo, Counter Arguments

Some of them are only on bitchute so if you can't find it on youtube then just search on there.

I really enjoy the Trash Taste podcast, they talk about weeb shit and living in Japan and whatever they feel like. They are funny tards.

JLongbone usually talks about shitty media or other SJW things, but she riffs on all that so much, it's pretty damn funny

Barely Sociable is mysteries. If you like true crime and weird shit, you will like him.

Justin Whang for weird internet events/mysteries/memes.

Mike's Book Reviews, he does mostly fantasy and some sci fi. For once it's a book youtuber who is not some red lipstick college girl talking about the same shit the publishers want to push at teen girls.

Mah-Dry-Bread does pokemon challenges, like "Can I beat X game with just one Y pokemon". I like it at night, to wind down before bed.

A couple that haven't been mentioned yet.

Tech: AvE was recommended recently, but he has an amusing way of talking about interesting tech. Tech Ingredients makes educational videos in which he creates various pieces of technology - the most recent being solid rocket fuel.

Games: Juzcook is one of a few members of the Mario Maker troll community I watch, and the one whose on-screen persona is least likely to rub you the wrong way. FailRace plays a Running Man game mode in GTA 5 called Survive the Hunt once a month, and other racing games in the interim.

Media Criticism: MauLer/MooLer and E;R both make good videos. For MauLer, I'd recommend his reviews or EFAP Movies over EFAP, since the latter livestreams tend to ramble more.

If you like mechical/shop type stuff, check out ThisOldTony. And if you REALLY like machine shop stuff check out https://www.youtube.com/user/oxtoolco He does precision machining and makes everyone else look like monkeys banging rocks together.

This being kind of a gaming related forum I feel the need to mention this guy I recently discovered (GrayStillPlays): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWFcffYDc8Q Dude's a psychopath after my own heart :D

Hardware: Louis Rossmann (repairs and right to repair), Mrwhosetheboss (smartphones and accessories), ExplainingComputers (mainly single board computers like the Pi), unfortunately the big PC channels are all cucked

Science, technology and wacky experiments: William Osman, NileRed, NurdRage, Cody'sLab, NightHawkInLight, TheBackyardScientist, styropyro, ElectroBOOM, EEVblog, Periodic Videos

Cooking: Internet Shaquille (true genius, unfortunately he gets shadowed by the algorithm since he doesn't spam videos 24/7), Alex, Food Wishes (Chef John), My Name Is Andong, Joshua Weissman, Adam Ragusea (self-important cunt but has some good explanations, watch ONLY if you can stomach his attitude)

Gaming and nerd culture: TheQuartering, SomeOrdinaryGamers, Worth A Buy, Sir Swag, Optimus, Shadiversity, Geeks + Gamers, ReviewTechUSA, Overlord DVD, ThatUmbrellaGuy, Hero Hei, Upper Echelon Gamers, It'sAGundam, YellowFlash 2

Anti-woke and politics: Tim Pool, MR. OBVIOUS, Styxhexenhammer666, Memology 101

Lifestyle: Better Bachelor, CoachGregAdams, Jordan B Peterson

I’d remove Ragusea from the list tbh. Replace him with Ethan Chlebowski. He’s much better and actually encourages you to develop technical skills in the kitchen whereas Adam thinks he knows best (and 97% of the time he flat out does not.)

Agreed. I liked Adam initially when he was more of an “Everyman” doing simple recipes for weeknight meals. Now he just sucks.

Food related channels:

Townsends - cooking using historical (1700s) recipes and techniques, plus random colonial historical stuff

LifeOfBoris - he does more than just cooking stuff, but his cooking videos are the main thing I watch. Still, an insane Slav making Slavic dishes is quite amusing.

Steve1989MREInfo - no cooking here, just a guy eating and reviewing ancient MREs and survival food.

Gaming related:

Arch - mostly Warhammer and 40k lore related, but playthroughs and previews of strategy games as well. And some SJW dunking.

ManyATrueNerd - General game reviews. Does get a little cringy on occasion, but generally fair reviews and LPs

AllThingsDND - Not so much D&D mechanical stuff, but a bunch of vignettes about various D&D (and tabletop RPG) stories

One odd thing I've been listening to go to sleep is one called Cracking The Cryptic: it's two British guys (former puzzle champions, I believe) where all they do is feature a special sudoku or crossword puzzle and explain their logic as they make their way through it on their own first impression. Another is Nizzahon Magic. I don't play Magic the Gathering, but I know how it's played and he makes top 10 videos that use an objective measurement to talk about the most sucessful MTG cards that meet a certain requirement and he talks a little bit about the meta and cards that made it succeed.

I like Outside XBox/Outside Xtra for the lists.

Technology Connections for learning about basic crap. He has a pretty damn good series on the history of television tech, and the history of the laser disc.

Context by Brad Harris. Also his How It Began podcast.

Saberspark for cartoons and other weird shit.

^^ This ^^

He also has good videos about stuff you normally don't consider thinking about (e.g. How dishwashers are supposed to work and why we are using them wrong)

I love the one about the 1960s toaster.

So did my husband, actually; he and his dad had an appliance shop in a small town just before shit started becoming unrepairable.

Adding to this, their Sony equivalent channel Playstation Access is also pro-BLM, gay pride, all the shit. One of the presenters is one of those vegan anti-whites, along with one of the Outside Xtra presenters being openly anti-white racist.

Redlettermedia, of course, for pure entertainment.

Viva Frei for their weekly/biweekly legal/political discussions with Robert Barnes.

Woodworking for Mere Mortals if you like to build shit.

Sideways for music analysis

I'm Not Norm for Norm MacDonald videos, the greatest comedian that ever lived

BarelySociable/Nexpo/JCS for weird, criminal, creepy shit

Jim Browning for slaying Indian callscammers

Home RenoVision if you're into DIY and want advice from a based Canadian general contractor

Isaac Arthur for science futurism

ChristopherOdd for Let's Plays that don't make me want to fucking kill myself and take everyone down with me

The Dick Cavett Show for oldtimey civility

Game Reviews: Sseth, Jay RPG, Infinite Backlog

Games Industry (mainly esports): Richard Lewis + Twitch

Misc: Nerd City for production value

I also follow some esports podcasts featuring Tho[oo]rin depending on mood. I read far more than I watch videos, so podcast format is useful to put on as background noise, even if I'm not interested in the topic.

Probably Kiara. APPARENTLY she's a BLM-loving idiot according to the hololive threads on /jp/ but I haven't really bothered looking into EN's roommates. They keep any politics out of their vtubing so I'm happy.

Western vtubers in general though...from what I've seen there's definitely a socjus streak, which, well, we see how Western anime/manga fans are getting so no real surprise there.

OH! Apparently Mori's used to drop "nigga" into tweets years ago like some wannabee rapper, and apparently she isn't really into socjus stuff, but again, just basing this on screens and posts from /jp/.
