Texas has deregulated electricity. There is a choice in providers (resellers) and it is likely that they receive a discount on their bill for giving the provider this sort of control. A few years ago some providers were offering "free nights" where electric use between 10 pm and 6 am was not metered, but the rest of the day was much more expensive. Great if you could shift your electric usage to night time, not sure if that would still be offered with the mining craze.

Overall it takes a little research, but it isn't difficult to find a plan/reseller that works for you. Although a lot of people got suckered into deals where the first month of a 12 month contract is super cheap then they get screwed on the rest of the year.

Also, Texas had a massive heat wave and drought in 2011.

If we had a breakdown of the murder victim race and the race of the murder victims where the race of the murderer is known then we could easily suggest the actual proportions.

Not to mention weren't the Skooby Doo crew supposed to be teenagers? Shes in her 40s now.

No worries, I won't be watching it anyway.

He has so many plates spinning with the story it must be a tremendous mental effort to write it. I wonder if it's gotten so big that in his old age he literally can't do it any more.

I seem to remember him (someone?) saying with Feast he had written enough for 2 books and cut it down to 1. Therefore Dance is mostly that extra crap he had written for Feast and that's why it drags so badly.

So in reality he hasn't done much since 2005.

No, I haven't read any EU books, only watched Clone Wars series. I'm interested in reading some of the best novels, but not sure where to find a list or order to read them in.

Even if I wanted to pick up again, it's been so long since I read the last book I wouldn't know what the hell was going on any more. And no way in hell I'm slogging through Dance again to figure it out.

I read all the books but at this point I'm done. Read the first 4 in 2008 and Dance in 2011.

After Storm of Swords the books started dragging badly, I barely got through Dance. Too many characters and places that I either actively hated (and not in a good way) or don't give a shit about, on top of prose that is like sucking cement through a straw.

The spinoff show? Not interested.

As for the ending, I blame Martin. He probably had a general plan but once the popularity took off it got ruined, and there was only so much you could do in the show. For example, I don't think Bran is coming back in the book after he gets fully integrated into the tree.

So like Star Wars, GoT is dead to me. The books and show had some good moments but it's turned into suck.

0.0001% is 1000 per billion or 1 per million. But the vax has only been around for what, a year or so? I'm afraid I'm going to need more time to prove there are no long term effects. I need to see where the two lines intersect with each other (coof & vax morbidity vs. age) so that I and my doctor can make informed decision.

Unfortunately the powers that be have poisoned the data, they have no credibility, and certainly don't have my best interest in mind. The only recourse is to wait 10+ years to see what happens, but even then, for COVID-19 specifically, nah I don't need it. Overall it was a mild illness.

I already had the coof, so for me the benefit/reward is not worth even the "0.000001%" risk,. But at the end of the day, I don't believe the data because the CDC, WHO, MSM, Fauchi, etc. haven't been honest with me, so why trust them now?

If I look up cases vs. hospitalizations for my state I see that for young people the coof has a very low chance of serous effects (hospitalization or death) and for elderly it's a few %.

Therefore I imagine two curves % adverse effects from vaccine vs. % adverse effects from coof both vs. age. I don't know where the two lines intersect, but I suspect it's > age 70 (or people with other health issues like diabetes).

So no, I'm not getting an unproven vaccine. Leftists love regulations, except for their precious weed, and apparently, COVID vax. Maybe in 10 or 20 years once things are proven out, or there is a new use for the gene therapy vaccine that is of some other benefit that outweighs the risk for me. I'm saying this as someone who has been a pin cushion for travel vaccines after a scare that I was exposed to something while in China.

I considered the supreme court lost when they ruled the "state" was the government and not individual states in Obamacare. That was my black pill moment.

It was obviously a gaffe. He meant to say a single penny MORE in taxes. What he lied about was that he was going to balance the spending. Or, increase the deficit spending, of course deficit spending was so high in 2020 that it's a pretty low bar to not increase it.

But yeah, keep talking about the gaffe part...

Is there any more to this story? Like he was brandishing a weapon or something like that? It certainly doesn't look like it, but figure I should check.

UK has a lot of great people, but the future looks fucking bleak. Tyrants leading jackboot thugs, how do they live with themselves?

  1. I think he will get convicted on 3rd degree is most likely.
  2. The best outcome possibility for Chauvin is hung jury.
  3. It is highly unlikely to happen, but I want acquittal because I want to watch the cities burn. Otherwise I don't care, there is no justice in this country any more.

Equity in healthcare is fucking terrifying. Denial of services because of skin color is just the start. Heaven help you if you exceed the life expectancy of someone else.

8
randomuser88385 8 points ago +8 / -0

To achieve equity everyone needs to be equally poor (excepting the elite, of course). The quickest way to do that is inflate away all middle class wealth.

It's probably very difficult to balance people experiencing chronic pain and their access to opioids, and those who need it on a temporary basis while balancing addiction risk. There are likely innumerable edge cases as well. However ultimately giving people personal responsibility is the best option of course.

The media only cares about advancing the globohomo agenda. They could start running stories about illegal alien crime for a few weeks and completely upend the DNC narrative. The same goes for everything, BLM, stop Asian hate, ...

14
randomuser88385 14 points ago +14 / -0

This next one is the green new deal. The goal is equity, with nearly everyone equally poor, while the rich elites fly around in private jets and yachts.

They must inflate away 401(k) (and retirement accounts) to do this, which is worth 20+ trillion and is the bulk of middle class wealth, some the rest is housing. Single family housing will become too expensive to maintain and suburbs will collapse into the cities as well.

Yikes, a 10 on the pain scale is supposed to be debilitating pain, like you literally can not function as you writhe in bed. Like kidney stones or severe burns.

Does it ever occur to her that CNN is feeding her an outrage addiction instead of the truth?

All the air brushing in the world still makes a very ugly woman. Body proportion is wrong too. Boobs are okay, but those are easy and doesn't make up for the other shortcomings at all.

0/10 would not fuck even if last person on earth.

The USA is dead, it logically follows that outer possessions/allies/vassal states will be lost first as it collapses inward.
