Against Democracy and Equality by Tomislav Tunic adresses the problem of egalitarianism directly. Also, Revolt Against the Modern World by Julius Evola.

But, I must warn you, these books are based on european far right movements that are very different from american conservative tradition, maybe this will be too much for your ex-liberal friend.

Olavo de Carvalho is more sympathetic to americanism and he made a great book called The USA and The New World Order (easy to find on z-library), in wich he debates with russian ideologist Alexander Dugin and discuss many aspects of the influence cultural marxism in america. It is also great book because the debate happened 15 years before the invasion of Ukraine and both authors would become very relevant a decade later.

There are many far right groups in France and they are nothing like american libertarians. Just look at Alain Soral, Alain de Benoist or the recent popstar Eric Zemmour.

The problem is that Marine is pushing the National Front to the center. She got pissed that Trump, Bolsonaro, Milei, etc were all elected while her family has been trying for more than 20 years.

She simply can't pass through the second round of the elections, but instead of confronting the globalists destroying her country she decided to conform her speech to adopt a moderate stance, hoping this will make her less rejected by leftwing media.

It is a lost cause, France is already a ghost of an empire and the downfall will not stop soon.

Its hard to believe that TV is better today, considering that it was killed by the internet.

(At least we can all agree that streaming is better today than it was in the 80s)

JBS deserve it, they are a corrupt company allied with south american left wing socialists.

yeah yeah, but the best character of this series is still the punisher.

Unfortunately they will make him a woke hunter of corrupt cops in the new daredevil series.

He is a very popular character and his fighting style is very pleasant. I know there will be many people who will pay extra just to press X and O repeatedly.

But, considering character development, I never understood why they included christie in the first place, Eddie always had a better personality and story.

is that eddy gordo? he always had a very unique design since Tekken 3. So sad they are turning him into a generic black token.

Obviously this will not work, and maybe it will backfire against the liberty of millions. The only solution is outlawing pornography.

blackface is only a thing in america, nobody cares for this shit in other parts of the world. It is very normal for an actor or a comedian to dress up as a different race in all countries in the world.

Nobody was offended by that until american media and NGOs started to call everybody a white supremacist.

Brazil actually needs a civil war to purge all the narcos and communists. Without that any democratic government will simply fail because of internal sabotage.

You didn't comment on the fact that he clearly proclaimed to be in favor of Homophobia laws, something you were denying in your first commentary.

I also appreciate that you showed us the canons of the catechism, but unfortunately, nobody here disagrees with the church's doctrine. Who disagrees with the catechism is Fr Lancelotti. Let's take a look at this specific fragment from the catechism:

Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity,141 tradition has always declared that "homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered."142 They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.

Any moral teaching based on orthodoxy must remind lay people that homosexual acts and tendencies are a disorder and must be avoided and suppressed.

Now let's see what Fr Lancelotti has to say:

Being LGBT is a sin? To sin is to act inhumanely. One may be hetero or LGBT or trans and be inhumane.

Is this the teaching of catechism? I don't think so! In my opinion he refuses to proclaim that homosexual acts are in fact a sin.

In fact, he even says that official declarations of the catholic church do not matter, and he even hopes that someday the church will change its doctrine to "accommodate LGBT people entriely".

Anyway, I just picked Fr Lancelotti as an example, because the Brazilian clergy is full of liberal traitors, like Fr Ticão who makes thematic masses dedicated to the "holy herb" Marijuana, or father Jose Pinto who liked to fight racism dancing vodoo songs in the middle of the sunday mass.

Latin America is where Catholicism remains the most fervent.

Eastern Europe and Africa.

Brazil was lost a long time ago because of Liberation theology. Most Catholics in Brazil do not go to mass regularly nor follow the moral authority of the church. Brazil has the second worst mass frequency in the world.

One of the most influential priests in Brazil, Fr. Julio Lancelotti:

And be sure that many bishops are also supporting this, even if they are not so outspoken.

The situation of the catholic church in Brazil is terrible.

Yes, they will. The Brazilian Worker's Party really wants to destroy evangelicalism. They also have full support from the liberal Catholic Clergy.

I think the movie is based on thomistic interpretation of Lucifer's revolt wich is very interesting, but some protestants may not find it completely "biblical." Some calvinists may even disagree entirely.
