That interpretation is probably true, since nobody actually believes there's more than two sex types of human. It is not charitable, however, since pretending to believe the lie to avoid trouble is both cowardly and the main way these ideas take hold on society.
Dailywire directly attacks Bloombergs' claims:
Bloomberg study finds that 94% of new corporate hires are 'people of color. (...) It’s an astonishing statistic that took the internet by storm: 94% of jobs created in 2021 went to racial minorities. It’s also completely untrue.
The percentage of new jobs that went to whites was likely about 46%, eight points below the 54% white makeup of companies’ existing workforces. That’s to be expected given demographic changes in the United States since the time that the currently-retiring baby boomer generation first entered the workforce.
Though Bloomberg spun the tale as a victory for Black Lives Matter, blacks benefited the least of any racial group from the slight decline in whites, according to the analysis. The percentage of black hires was up from the status quo by 1%, while Asians were up by 2%, and Hispanics were up by 4%. That’s also explained by demographics.
Dailywire then goes onto detail about the numbers and how Bloomberg jumped the gun in their fervor to claim an ideological victory.
What I do like about the Substack was that leading causes of death by age group image: https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2F2eff24ce-6a3f-41e8-b478-56374e152860_744x1200.jpeg
Interesting to see the main causes of death by age group displayed like that. I didn't know most deaths between 18-44 year olds was due to opioids. Alarming stuff.
Awful nomenclature, but the answer is very little.
A famous person's digital 'IP' wouldn't maintain its value for long after it begins to be exploited for money in generic ways. Think post-Lucas Star Wars. Also, it can all be pirated for shitpost content, diluting the value even further.
They're colloquially known as the dark ages due to the immense loss of knowledge and technology because of the fall of Rome.
Nah, they're called dark due to idiotic stereotypes.
It had many positive aspects as well, but many negative.
As you more or less implied, The 21st century is going to be a lot worse than the worst of medieval misinformation.
The problem is there are many dozens of Nitter domains
There are? I thought it was a KF scenario in which a single site changes domains every now and then.
Btw how do you use Twitter without an account and no redirector?
I don't.
What do you do when there's a Twitter link somewhere? Manually copy paste the link?
I try to, if I care enough. Otherwise I skip it.
That is some ugly artwork.
People are dumb. Corrupt people get complacent. Those who've 'made it' into whatever station become stagnant. Habituation towards taking it easy meant nobody cared enough to be diligent.
That's how things like this happen.
Article was written in 2013 in the future tense. I looked into it and there's another article written the next year about the results:
LGBT people have found to be 46-76% less likely to be on a sports team due to “gender nonconformity and athletic self-esteem.”
Other research out of the project finds that lesbians are more likely to see themselves as a healthy weight, even if they are not.
Conclusions listed included:”Physical activity contexts should be modified to welcome sexual minority males and females.”
That was a third of 1.5m's worth, with two more years of research left as of 2014.
EDIT- Hey, WTF not, I went further and here's what looks to me like the final result of that 1.5m:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5329123/
Lesbian and bisexual women are at greater risk of being obese than heterosexual women
Measures included diet quality (...); calorie, fat, and fiber intake; and glycemic load and index.
On average, lesbian and bisexual women reported better diet quality (p<0.001) and diets lower in glycemic index (p<0.001) than heterosexual women.
BTW, Abstract's Results and Conclusions summary doesn't mention calorie intake at all, so I went further in and skimmed the damn thing:
According to their graphs, lesbian women both eat better and eat less calories, even though they are more obese.
That's 1.5m well spent, folks.
I don't know about the USA's SSRIs prescriptions. I've heard rumors about them being prescribed too often and in too large a dose. However, SSRI's are not a placebo. They are not worthless poison either. You are dead wrong.
Is it depressing like The Boys?
