I have zero tolerance for open faggotry and very low tolerance for general degeneracy so I won't be watching any more. One of the prominent characters has the superpower of tranny and switches from male to female arbitrarily. Another is a faggot, and there is porn comedy with dicks showing.
However, if you are slightly more "open minded" about that stuff then the show is otherwise watchable. I only hit 30 second skip a couple of times to bypass one segment of porn "comedy".
The most unique thing about it is the black girl protagonist isn't "sassy". She is actually reserved and positive and introspective, which was endearing (that means the propaganda is working on me). There is a ton of gay commie talking points throughout the show but most of them can be read as ironic like the "girls get it done" promotions from The Boys.
I think I aged out of enjoying something just because it is transgressive and other than that the show doesn't have much to offer.

I'm re-watching Daredevil and remembering how I thought Karen was the worst part of the show. But now I'm thinking she is actually a good character and wish any modern show could pull off that kind of development.
Daredevil was a fun show until they brought the obnoxious Elektra on. Couldn't stand that chick. It's like you're not allowed to have a good action show with a male protagonist very long before they need to bring in a female partner.
Would argue that season 1 of Daredevil and the first half of season 2, peaking with the graveyard speech by Punisher, is up there with some of the best television ever made.
Agreed. Can't remember when I quit the show but couldn't be further after the Punisher's epic prison brawl. About the time Elektra kept butting into the plot like a hyperactive child is when I quit.

Foggy was a character that I felt like I was going to hate but ended up liking a lot. He had some great moments like when he talked down the thugs at the hospital that were about to shiv each other.
That Karen article / speech about everyone been an hero was one of the cringiest lines uttered in a tv show.
And hilariously, the most popular character now is the one they tried to frame as a straight, White, racist relic from the past: Soldier Boy.
Soldier Boy ended up becoming unironically one of the most talked about, cheered for, and relished characters by fans because -- despite being a wanker -- he actually did have moral principles, he did stand by his word, and he always kept his promises.
Despite their attempts to make him come across as a broken representation of "toxic masculinity", he ended up being the most badass and respectable character in the show. Because in the end, his character got things done and the only time he failed a mission was literally because his team betrayed him (twice).
It's one of those scenarios where the Left so badly wants you to hate someone you end up loving them. It didn't help their cause that Jensen Ackles played Soldier Boy perfectly and came across as the exact kind of guy you would want on the front lines fighting for your country.
The Boys is one of the more egregious examples of woke bait and switch. They kept that shit somewhat in check for season one, and then season two went full throttle. I really wish every show would just go all out from the jump so I don’t make the mistake of investing time in a doomed product.

The comics were decent, as long as you rooted for Butcher, and accepted everyone else were pissants.

If a franchise is getting hyped on r/all, (rupaulsdisgrace, theboys, genshit) there's a 66% of it being objectively shit or heading towards the septic tank. The first season of The Boys could be great for all I know, but I don't trust studios to not cater towards lowest-common-denominator audiences they already appeal to.
I turned off Disenchanted as soon as 'jazz-hands' were introduced as a moral, not a lampoon. Similarly with Dragon Prince somewhere in season 2, a complete moral downgrade from Cartoon Network/Toonami of early 00's, or OG ducktales.
Disenchanted has so many liberal easter eggs that my eyes were continuously rolling. I made it through season 1 barely.
The basic liberal theme of "father bad, traditions bad, men bad, established hierarchy bad, young woman knows better than everyone and is better at everything than everyone despite not making any effort" makes everything predictable.
That is the liberal theme of "a young woman doesn't need a biological family, and to be truly free she needs to sever her connections with them".
