The hormone treatments and puberty blockers are even worse. They cause systemic issues, from bone issues to mental retardation to heart issues.

That same play on words is in the books. She's Draco Malfoy, the school bully's, mother.

Purely anectdotal, but I personally knew at least 4 people who fit the tranny-autism mold.

If they want their products to reflect reality, then marriage shouldn't be a happy ending. It should say "and after 5 years, the princess filed for divorce and the prince committed suicide after losing custody of his children."

Did you not see Star Wars: The Force Awakens?

Not sure how inflation will let them get away with paying their employees less. At some point people will figure out that they get paid more not to work than they get at a low wage job. It was bad enough with covid, and inflation will make this issue worse.

Remember back when the definition of woman was really simple? Adult female human covered it.

Interestingly enough, removing one's shoes before a suicide is a Japanese custom that, naturally, has made its way to anime and other Japanese media.

Yes, that's right, the weeb-to-trans pipeline is real. And I say that as a fan of anime.

Yes, and what they mean by science is, whatever an authority figure tells them, rather than the actual method.

This isn't a fair comparison, because there was close to zero demand for oil when the world's economies shut down. That said, I agree that oil was much, much cheaper under Trump,

They've already been making a few small edits to movies on streaming platforms. It's only a matter of time before they do something as big as that. Or, they'll just let those films go out of print, replaced by all of the soft reboots that they've been making.

I'd include Enterprise too. It started a bit weak, but got cancelled when it really found its footing. The last episode sucked though.

Also, ngl, the Kelvinverse movies are a guilty pleasure. But, I don't consider them to be real Trek.

"Our better halves" as Imp would say.

My dad was pretty cheap, so eMachines with OS's like Windows ME were my childhood.

Still sucks that most linux distros have Firefox as their default browser.

It goes as far back as WWI, at the very least, when things like sauerkraut were renamed "liberty cabbage."

OTOH, take an author like Patrick Rothfuss. I think The Name of the Wind is an absolutely beautitful book. But the dude shits on his fans, runs a fake charity that leases back warehouse space from a warehouse that Rothfuss personally owns (while giving a startingly small % of income to actual charity). All while going on countless SJW rants (and not finishing his third book). Great writer, shitty author (and seemingly person).

I don't expect Patrick Rothfoss to finish the series, and frankly, I don't know if I want him too. He's just too radical left and I can't see him passing up a chance to make his last book all about The Message tm. It's a shame, because I enjoyed his books, even the Auri novella.

Stuntman has to climb mess of fake afro, rather than a proper rope. Stuntman falls to his death.

Yeah, I liked it. I was just pointing out that it's an example of "diversifying" originally Asian media.

IIRC, you don't give 2% of your GDP to NATO. NATO just requires that you spend 2% of your GDP on your own armed forces.

6
hungryfreaksdaddy 6 points ago +7 / -1

Well if Germany doesn't want to be America's bitch, they could actually spend more than 1.53% of their GDP on defense.

They already have, with stuff like Alita Battle Angel and Ghost in the Shell.
