Aww, man, now I have to drink away those brain cells all over again. I had finally forgotten...

Yep. "Enemy of my enemy" and all that jazz. Best case scenario is to get as many of them as possible to take each other out.

I think consensus is that Clooney gets that title.

I never thought I would be drawing parallels between data structures and group sex acts.

FWIW, I find Dave Smith's podcast "Part of the Problem" (and 2017 standup special "Libertas", to which there's supposed to be a sequel coming soon) pretty hilarious sometimes. Especially because he's rabidly opposed to what he's dubbed "The covid regime" and would likely be the first in a long line of people waiting to throw the electric chair switch on Fauci.

Also, his cohost Robbie gets even more offensive than he does sometimes. Their live podcast from Chicago comes to mind, wherein Robbie talks about making neighborhoods safer by "getting rid of all the black criminals and cheating whores."

He happily lampoons Republicans and is utterly merciless to Democrats and the woke left.

ModDB maybe? I always thought their UI was crap compared to Nexus but any idea whether they're social-justards?

Look no further than Guylandriel's actress, who kept on freaking out whenever she had to take on the big, tough male actors in all her action scenes.

I'm torn on this one. My first instinct is to say "She what now?" But then also, Galadriel was never supposed to be an action girl. She's supposed to be restrained, understated and seen as powerful because of what she doesn't show (except when tempted by the One Ring, which is as much a statement of its corrupting influence as one of her power) rather than what she does. She's an example of the lost art of strength of will manifested in personality and demeanor. She shouldn't have had to "take on" anyone because Galadriel isn't a "tuff gurl" character.

I think Trump was pro-"Being the guy who got down to brass tacks and made a solution happen." It's a very corporate-America kind of response. Cut the bullshit, cut the red tape, and get the wheels turning toward a fix for a problem. On its surface, getting industry partners working on a vaccine and removing bureaucratic obstacles seems like a sure win from a business perspective.

What Trump wasn't expecting and/or used to was the insanely high degree of corruption, cronyism and abuse of power that's rampant in government that doesn't really exist in the private sector. My inner cynic says that the deep state figured out how to exploit his entrepreneurial mentality against him and prey on that mentality as a weakness.

Yes and no. It's a double-edged sword, in that they can clump together a bunch of SJW-friendly Mastodon instances and de-list non-leftist ones, but the open-source nature of the project means that literally anyone with the technical skill to do so can run a Mastodon instance, gather their own user base, federate with their own chosen associate instances and have whatever kind of community they want. And nobody but the server/instance owner can shut the instance down.

In the words of GlaDOS, "Nice job breaking it, hero."

I would congratulate him for making the leap to Linux, but who am I kidding? He's going to go crawling back to Windows the first time he gets even the faintest whiff of the command line.

Add Larry Correia to the mix. Monster Hunter International is deliberately campy, funny as hell, over-the-top with explosions and monster guts and he's stated in interviews that he just wants to write fun, escapist, brain-candy stories that people will enjoy reading.

Could always flip a coin. You've got a 50/50 shot at getting it right anyway.
