Frag that. World-class deckers and blood mages do not mix. It would be a loss to computer science. Find yourself another sucker.

Gamergate didn't fail at all. Every outlet we fought against has spiraled downward, some fatally. When's the last time anyone mentioned GamaSutra or Leigh "I AM Games Journalism" Alexander? Kotaku has been sold and resold for less and less each time. VICE has been written down into literal worthlessness. BuzzFeed's IPO was a resounding failure, with their stock sitting at a whopping $4.32 as I write this. We did what we set out to do -- but in typical gamer fashion, we exposed a bigger boss behind all the fuckery. Then, depending on how much you want to give us credit for, SJWs spent four years screeching about how Gamergate nazis took the White House, and now about how they forced the Prime Minister of a G7 country into hiding as he feebly shouts the same "muh racist nazi" playbook that failed eight years ago into a chorus of honks. And something tells me we're not done yet. Don't doubt yourselves, lads.

"Poked MY back." I doubt all of this, but still.

And then posted an "interim" definition one day later, because people pointed out that Whoopi was right by the ADL's definition.

I think the idea is the people paying for it will quickly realize that the "clicks" they're getting aren't actually doing anything for them.

Well, Disney has written VICE off into worthlessness:

The company described the latest $353 million impairment as a "write-off" in its latest quarterly filing, a term used when there is nothing left to write-down and the entire asset has been scrubbed from the company's balance sheet

Apparently they own about 27% of it, once you take Fox's 6% into account.

Holy shit, Yahoo! is lying like a dog.

randomly shoot innocent people down

I'm pretty sure that Yahoo! (and the author) has committed libel per se in writing that.

Slander Per Se (or Defamation per se) is the legal doctrine that there are certain statements which are so inherently defamatory and libelous, that damage to a plaintiff’s reputation will be presumed and they will not need to prove damages.

What Constitutes Slander Per Se?

4 types of statements:

Most States in the U.S. and their defamation laws outline four types of statements which would be considered Slander Per Se:

Crime: Statements charging the plaintiff with having committed a crime or a crime of moral turpitude

Yahoo has a lot of money, don't they?

Just as an aside, it also lists:

Loathsome Disease: Statements imputing the plaintiff suffers from a loathsome disease (typically, STDs & leprosy).

Which I have no further comment on.

The issue I see with that is that it will inevitably lead to: "Yes, he was 'convicted fairly' by an 'anonymous jury of his peers.' No, you can't see them."
