Good breakdown. My favourite extra detail is where Cohen admitted on the stand to embezzling money from Trump while working in his capacity as Trump's lawyer. The guy whose testimony you're supposed to take as evidence that Trump's retainer payments were meant to go to Stormy Daniels is the guy whose responsibility it was to pass on that money, and yet in the same testimony he's stating that some of the money wasn't used as Trump directed, because he, Cohen, is a lying criminal who stole it. This was the star witness, pivotal testimony.

It was even a completely unambiguous admission of crime which was reported with no gloss by the liberal media, I suspect because they thought it was some kind of burn towards Trump, like 'hahaha DRUMPPPFF had his hush money stolen by his own lawyer, that's how much EVERYONE hates him! xD ' TDS got in the way of the realisation that in a sane world this admission should make the testimony as good as toilet paper.

Having not read it, I don't know how accurate this factoid is, but there's also the suggestion that it's a barely disguised rape/subjugation fetish for horny women, who want to flick themselves off to a scenario from an erotica novel dressed up as feminist moralising.

Third that it accidentally lets the mask slip. They'd spitefully destroy the human species rather than accept that so called women's rights, by which they mean the power to live a parasitic existence free of responsibility, shouldn't exist.

I've noticed this tends to be true of any fiction set in a disaster scenario or near/post-apocalypse. Whenever there is a dire set of circumstances facing a set of characters, or even an entire species, if the solution to the scenario involves trampling women's rights - or even one female character's rights - then writers will immediately swing all narrative sympathy towards the oppressed woman rather than the group. If you are, as we say, 'based and also redpilled' then it's easy to see the seams and limits of feminist ideology, but normalfag simps and feminists are fundamentally incapable of writing from the perspective of men facing existential doom, when there is some crying pussy around.

Which is a distinction without a difference really. If all it takes to get a blank cheque to evade rules is use a direct link to a 3rd party site or filehost, and the text of your tweet spells out exactly what's under the link, then the rule is worthless.

This is one data point among a fairly strong body of evidence that Destiny is an empty man who posts for effect but doesn't actually believe anything he claims. Starve him of oxygen.

I stood briefly at our blue front door — the one I painted last year when I changed all the red in our house to blue.

Then I walked out the door — devastated but determined — into the blue of a new day.

uh, I know these people are impossible to parody any more, but did HuffPo just get Godfrey Elfwick'd? This seems a little too on the nose.

'At least my kids still speak to me', translation 'haha I'm part of the liberal establishment that brainwashed your child into castrating himself and hating you, guess I win.' Absolute scum.

Based on the filename I can guess exactly which NYC-related video this was and who might want it suppressed, too.

Just started the Etrian Odyssey franchise via the Steam HD versions (pirated). Pretty tough. Also it's a bit sad that sidequests are of so little worth. Completing the map is fun though.

Rediscovered Zachtronics solitaire collection for short blasts. Occasional Mahjong Soul for the same purpose. Got 13 orphans the other day. Matchmaking with chingchong ragequitters is still infuriating bullshit however.

Also got a run of Ys 9 on the back burner over several months. It's been very comfy gaming although not quite as excellent as 8. At least I anticipate a better ending than the one in Ys 8, because it would be hard to come up with worse.

I think it's a complete unknown. Kamala is such a disaster and Trump is so popular that this should be too big to possibly steal, but the reality is nobody knows what 'too big' is. Common sense and intuition say that it's become so much harder to steal than last time that surely this time it's in the bag for Trump - but common sense, divorced from the cheatmode of hindsight, also says that nobody should be able to blatantly coup the USA in broad daylight and have the whole world go along with it, which is factually what happened last time.

I don't think Trump's increased popularity or people being fed up with the Biden administration has much bearing on the nature of the steal. The kingmakers who run the election and its aftermath - the press, the shameless riggerniggers and their political handlers - will insert a vertical blue line that's almost 100% of the height of the entire red vote curve into the tally graphs if necessary, and if possible. Then they'll call it 'a vote update from a pro-Democrat district' like last time and people will swallow it like last time and do absolutely nothing again. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes much more difficult to track any such graphs in realtime, this time around.

Perhaps red voters will be (conveniently) provoked into altercations at polling sites by election workers, leading to restrictions, poll shutdowns and blocking of all recordings, leaving goons all the time in the world to pull infinite trolleys of ballots out from under tables or in from alleyways. There are infinite possibilities because there are infinite heights to their mendacity and arrogance. I don't know what will happen but I don't envy Americans this uncertainty. As a non-American, I'm insulated from some of the fallout and I'm promised unprecedented levels of drama either way.

I had a revival of interest in music (metal exclusively) just after the pandemic shenanigans but sad to say it's died off a bit, which might coincide with me feeling stressed and stuck in a rut lately. Still, even though I'm not feeling as inspired as I was, I remain impressed on a technical level by how much death metal bands have stepped up their playing beyond what I thought was possible. With drumming in particular, 10 years ago I feel like nobody was playing as fast and skilled as some of these guys are now.

Archspire - Drone Corpse aviator. Archspire and Vitriol (below) might be old news to some but they're new discoveries to me across the past year or so, as I caught up on things. Archspire have become a bit of a guilty pleasure, guilty because they're way more melodic than I'm normally comfortable with, but they camouflage it under the absurd drumming and vocals. Guess that's another way of saying this is as tuneful as these links will get. Without the drumming they wouldn't really be my thing but at the same time it's easy to fall into a trap of listening to nothing else, because they're so catchy.

Vitriol - Shame and its Afterbirth Still not quite up my alley, but pretty sick. I bought their latest album basically on the strength of this track alone. It turned out to be the best on the album, although the drummer pulls off some more impressive Archspire-tier stuff elsewhere compared to this track. Superb solo makes the song.

Origin - Heat Death Fiending for more single stroke snare rolls at this stage, I remembered John Longstreth. So I bought the last Origin album sight unseen, because why not. He's drumming better than ever too. Album was merely all right, great track though.

Nile - Stelae of Vultures Glimpsing at the thumbnails of a metal reviews youtuber revealed that a new Nile album's out. 20 years ago I used to love this band like nothing else, but IMO they changed a lot and lost me along the way - in fact there are several albums in the last decade I didn't even check. But I gave this album a shot and was once again blown away by a top tier drummer (George Kollias) somehow having gotten even better. This is the first track and I like it, but for some reason I haven't been able to get through the whole album yet without my attention wandering, could just be old age and a ruined attention span.

So my enthusiasm for music atm is more limited to being impressed by technical prowess, moreso than is characteristic for me anyway since I also swing the other direction and appreciate minimalistic black metal. I haven't found something I can really evangelise to the level of Absu's comeback album in 2021 which I still go back to practically weekly. I'd love another album from that lineup but won't hold my breath. On the black metal side, last thing that really reached me was Hate Forest - Innermost - I also caught up on that guy's non-Drudkh side projects including Windswept, under which he penned the very memorable title Disgusting Breed of Hagglers.

it seems she didn't understand the uniform comes with curtailing her freedoms as a citizen.

She made 25,000 tweets she wasn't arrested for, was free to be racist online, enjoyed the elevated profile of somebody photographed 'heroically confronting lockdown protesters' and was also apparently in repeated contact with a Syrian jihadi who had fled Europe. She was objectively more free than the average white British non-cop, for her entire career as a cop. The only reason she doesn't continue to enjoy those freedoms is likely due to the extra scrutiny she drew from going viral in photos. Interesting how the verdict doesn't mention her being in contact with a jihadi.

Just because of how everyone in politics sets similar examples and inspires others to do the same as she did but somehow not be held accountable.

She wasn't held accountable because she was a cop, it was because she criticised 'zionists'. You don't get away with this in British politics either, as proved by Labour's purge of the Corbynistas. All her case teaches to brown UK cops is 1) don't go above 1 racist tweet per day, 2) limit your vitriol to 'kuffars' and 3) don't be a camera hound.

I'm from outside the US but I started to get interested in baseball in recent years. All I know is that the Yankees are a huge team and that the Dodgers represent a cancerous city (LA) plus they wear a very faggy kit (edit: I remembered wrong, I was thinking of the Padres City Connect kit). In an attempt to avoid watching the most grievous BLM-kneelers and homo-worshippers, I picked (with my gut) the St. Louis Cardinals to follow this year, but in the end I didn't get much viewing done at all.

Baseball fans, what are the prospects for anyone hoping to watch and learn about pro baseball without being forced to swallow propaganda, and how much will likely feature in the World Series? For example I know with football (be it the US or euro kind) it's completely impossible.

Very useful summary. I like Matt from what little I've heard of him in the post-Tenet interviews, seems more principled and less retarded than some of the rest of the conserva-sphere, but this video on SIDS was the first vid I've ever seen from her and it's clear from both the topic of the video and bits like 9m45s that she is not YT friendly.

I suspect these parts cut to the root of the issue and are the final-straw factors behind the reported pay disputes discussed further up:

-speculation in the X threads that Blonde wants to push the JQ & Matt is uncomfortable

-speculation that Matt is a worse position financially given the collapse of Tenet, a SAHM, two young kids and a relatively bigger mortgage

-speculation that Matt is more beholden to YT's ToS because he needs the money more than her

-Blonde is married to an older retired vet who seems wealthy, she was continuing to do the show out of tradition

-a surprising amount of the X commenters and supposed viewers uncomfortable with her white nationalism politics considering she's been like this for years. I guess many fans side with Matt's boring, milquetoast, toeing the line takes.

He is running a dissident political channel that is heavily reliant on a captured, censored, hostile media platform. She's more based, is less connected to his audience and could take or leave the show. Intriguingly, that SIDS video is the last example of her content which isn't a livestream.

Seems less about money than it was about patience - he'd lost patience with a lesser contributing partner, she'd lost patience with tailoring her contributions to a censored show, so any pay dispute is just a cloaked opportunity for them both to announce their exhausted patience.

'Freedom to die' is a trojan horse ideology that libertarians in every country trip over. The concept of nominally having a pulse but still being a vegetable (or having other terminal issues) raises the concern in people's mind over when they want others to stop fighting on their behalf and just switch them off. Then they naively call for such protocols to be incorporated institutionally, at which point the hostile institutions weaponise their new freedoms.

Well to be clear I don't hold the sympathetic interpretation as any more likely than pre-emptive quitting in cynical self-interest. Either's possible. And I'm a bad gambler, so watch the truth turn out to be the one about them quitting in anger at being questioned. "You think you hate them enough..."

27
ZeroPercentCamoIndex 27 points ago +27 / -0

There's more to this particular part. It stuck out to me too. Could it be that certain employees quit in sympathy protest for the guy that they had almost been forced to kill due to doctor's orders? Quitting in anger because they didn't successfully murder him seems incredibly brazen, but I wouldn't put it past doctors and nurses. It's also possible that they quit in fear, not protest, having been rumbled. They could skedaddle for the horizon and get re-hired by any other hospital, since they all do the same thing and the important thing is to cover for the system.

The other half of the equation is that they will deliberately make you as ill and doomed as possible before declaring you dead. The UK codified this in the Liverpool Care Pathway for the Dying Patient, which was supposedly abolished but actually just rebranded:

However, The Daily Telegraph reported that the programme was just rebranded and that its supposed replacement would "perpetuate many of its worst practices, allowing patients to suffer days of dehydration, or to be sedated, leaving them unable to even ask for food or drink."

The reality is this protocol is likely in practice all across the western world, because we saw identical stories from multiple countries suggesting that it is systematic practice for doctors to fabricate Do Not Resuscitate orders, then drug patients with morphine and fentanyl until they are 'deemed dying', then use midazolam to help them on their way. Brenda Downs and Grace Schara are examples in the US, the testimonies by scottish families in their covid inquiry, the Isle of Man care home whistleblower, and others all tell the identical story, even separated by seas and oceans. Midazolam Matt in the UK interviewing a doctor about how best to give covid patients 'a good death' then claiming he'd never heard of Midazolam in parliament was another tell.

They have no compunction about deliberately trying to kill you, donor or not. The funny thing is they seem more likely to try it for what could be perceived as easy targets with nobody on their side, such as junkies (the OP here), retards (Grace Schara) and the elderly (millions during covid). My take away is that if you ever have to be admitted to hospital for some reason, try to make it clear by way of jovial anecdotes that you have lots of psycho relatives who hate doctors and might try to burn down hospitals if they ever had a grudge against one.

Musk tweets "This is illegal" and receives a community note with an FEC source stating that's it's okay for foreign nationals to assist in election campaigns.

I'm hoping everyone here already sees the irrelevance of this statement, but for completion's sake, the Labour party are not some garden variety foreigners. They are the party in government in the UK. That makes any member of them coming over to the US, for the purposes of influencing US policy, a foreign agent, who is required to register. If they go ahead and assist Harris' election campaign while making any statements about not being foreign agents during border clearance, then they're engaged in fraud and criminal election interference.

But for all that the midwits on Twitter who are screaming about 'muh brits', your problem remains homegrown. What's to say the Biden govt just won't just give the all clear to all these Labour commies to assist Kamala on US turf? What LEA is going to get involved? What judge is going to uphold anything? I doubt the Labour party would have made this post without knowledge of a prior invitation.
