Well they got the mental illness vibe going.
No no, video games always had options for transsexual and transgender identities. They were some of the biggest games of the year when they came out. If you don't know their names I'm not telling you. You're a tourist if you don't know their names. All games have to change and be updated to show this is normal. You have to normalize it. But it was always there and no one ever complained about it. You're weird for reacting negatively to it. Stop being weird! Stop telling people what we're putting into games, it's always been there! Only I can tell them that it's there now. It's not new or different! This was always ours and never yours. I'm in charge, stop fighting me. Stop fighting back.
Dragon Age was always woke! It was always exactly this flavor of woke! The series was never for you, you're being left behind, you're a hypocrite if you liked the first Dragon Age but don't like this one!

They don’t want the high of this fetish to wear off and being forced to realize they are Frankenstein’s monster. That is why you must celebrate them at all times.

And the whole thing is so... obnoxiously self-indulgent. Having all these different dialogue options centering around "gender identity" when it has no bearing on the story. You could say it's about shaping your character maybe, but that collapses when you look at the rest of the game, which has no roleplaying options and forces you to be nice to people all the time. The writing really is abominable.
I can't even begin to address this one.
That, voice, though... is that the only female voice available to Rook? Or is it supposed to be "non-binary"? Either way, it's abysmal.

As bad as this is, the rest of the writing is even worse.

It feels more like carefully crafted work banter in corporate culture than it does talking to a human being about human activities.
It's all just so stilted and forced that it comes across as sad and pathetic. These people obviously have no friends outside of work, so they pull from what interactions they do have, at work carefully contrived banter that won't offend anyone.
And it shows.
They couldn't get a trans actor to voice a trans person? Yet more trans genocide.
They need a mod that will drop the player voice over a few octaves if you pick these options.
