A friend of mine is a teacher and has a bunch of migrants in her class since they got rid of ESL classes as "isolating." So she has to Google translate everything she says. And they write their essays in Spanish and Google translate them to English.

Years back mobsters would do this on the regular because the Feds always refused to cooperate with local law enforcement thinking they were corrupt. The Feds would post up outside mob joints, a mobster would call the cops and be like "There are guys with guns in a car outside my cafe." Local cops would roll up and pull the Feds out of the car and toss them while the mobsters would all be laughing on the sidewalk.
I tried to call the treasury department a few months back, the call gets am automated message saying that because of high call volumes they can't answer them and I need to send an email to get a response then immediately get disconnected. I then send an email and get an auto response that because of the volume of emails I will not receive a response and need to call.
They'll immediately declare that the AFD is an illegal party and dismiss all votes against them because one time some dude that voted for them once had a picture taken with a swastika.

Denver is a shithole. The amount of homeless there is insane and they're violent, aggressive homeless. Walking around Denver at night is one of the few places where I have legit felt uncomfortable and unsafe. And I live in a major city and have been to South America and eastern Europe.
I mean to be fair game testing is tedious as fuck. Most of it isn't playing the game it is "run into every wall from every possible angle to make sure you don't clip through and fall through the earth."

I feel like a good measure for intelligence is to ask people "who do you personally know that you think is smart?" Then ask them "why do you think they're smart?" Because most people's idea of smart is such a low bar that the term is meaningless is conversation.

Also people came here with the idea that they were going to become American and being American meant speaking English. My parents grew up in households of Italian immigrants and never learned italian because "you're in America, you speak English."
