Not a fan of their openworlds just not great for the invasion mechanic which was unique to their games. And since Dark Souls 1 they made it harder and harder for invaders. Now you cant even invade single hosts anymore unless they use a certain item. Thats one of the signs the pvp audience isnt their core audience anymore, when they make it fail safe for the normies to enjoy pve. Even tho you could always play offline in earlier games but then you just dont have messages/coop, which was at least a trade off.

Has been a pretty weak season compared to the ones before, except for mushoku tensei. Demon slayer and Konsuba episodes are rather weak compared to earlier stuff. Slime Season 3 is stretching its run time with way too many meeting talk episodes. And except for that there isnt really anything wortwhile this season.
