They might as well BE humans, considering they're all talking and acting like those stupid cringy, socially-awkward characters who stutter, stammer, quip, and overexplain their way uncomfortably through every fucking situation, and which is so in vogue with Hollywood right now.

For a basic car dude? Not to my knowledge. Not everyone's a triple changer like Blitzwing, a big dude like Optimus Prime or has special powers like Skywarp, but being able to turn into a car is just something Transformers can do if they don't have some more exotic alt mode.
Poor kids these days only get new crap like this, with the typical marvel humor I just cant stand anymore. But guess if explosions and pewpew still excites someone they will like this. Dont expect any life lessons or a good story or character developement.
Is this supposed to be a prequel to the Shia LeBouf movies?
who knows, the Bumblebee movies were supposed to be soft reboot prequels of shia's movies, this could be prequel to those movies or just prequel to transformers lore in general
