The entire game had no creativity in their gameplay and story. All the gameplay were shades of Fall Scrolls with parts shuffled or taken out. The skill tree was the most noticeable as it consisted of adding back normal skills and UI parts that were default from the previous games. Hell, most of the ship tree was just unlocking buyable items from stores.
The only way to make the game fun was to do a complete remodel akin to No Man’s Sky and I don’t think Microsoft cares enough for that.
