I'm just marvelling at my newfound powers to threaten the richest and most powerful people alive by posting dumb jokes on the Internet.

let alone so angrily

That's the sense I've been getting from you...

You continue to insist that there's a group of people out there somewhere who are watching it "wrong" somehow, and that they deserve to be ridiculed for their "errors."

I was giving benefit of the doubt to people who call it incomprehensible that they hadn't watched the entire series at once, and their understanding was piecemeal of childhood TV watching and then watching the movie years later.

Right, and at the same time you deny the benefit of the doubt to everyone else, despite the fact that there is no reason at all to expect they binge watched the entire series + movie.

Not sure I follow your train of thought there. Anyone can watch it for the first time at any point, and watch as much or as little of it as they want. We aren't bound to TV schedules and release dates. I feel as though you're trying to invent situations in your head that make it easy to look down on people who may or may not even actually exist.

Yea, I think it's really the last couple episodes where people get lost. Without watching the movie as well that would be incredibly hard to piece together.

Evangelion is such a simple series to follow yet people act like its a cryptic enigma.

It doesn't have to be one or the other. The surface level is indeed very easy to follow, but they put a huge amount of effort into the small details so every time I watch it I notice things that I never saw before. For one example, I didn't realize at first that Misato/Kaji were being paid to seduce Shinji/Asuka to ensure their cooperation with the project (probably because I was around Shinji's age when I first saw it).

Yes males may be overwhelmingly prevalent among top investors, but Nancy Pelosi tips the balance entirely on her own.

People are always sympathetic to victims, and so a great many people with no other redeeming qualities paint themselves as victims in an attempt to receive charity.

What the hell did people expect when they decided to give away every material luxury possible, while at the very same time denying them every possible opportunity to forge their own path through life?

How the fuck is that guy an ambassador?

We've seen it repeatedly over the past several years. It seems that nobody competent wants to work for them anymore.

Eh... anime is so popular largely because the Japanese people pay way more attention to the details of an experience. Ever seen western artists try to copy that style (or chinese/korean even)? They can't do it. Even when you have actual people drawing they can't imitate that "something special", good luck getting an AI to do so.

You're probably going to just descend further and further into the uncanny valley by doing that tbh.

And green energy is the future and we'll all be eating gourmet lab grown meat!

I'm sure a talented artist would have the refined eye required to recognize which image stands out among the hundreds they generate, but the AI can't decide that for you.

This exactly. While it is indeed true that we are in actuality one with the divine, this conscious existence in a human body is what that experience feels like. Your body is not a barrier preventing you from having that experience, it is your biases and misgivings that are preventing you from recognizing how incredible this human experience is in it's entirety.

The thing about AI is that it's got zero personality. A skilled artist can impart feelings and emotions into their work which will be perfectly understandable to another human, but entirely foreign to an AI.

Unfortunately for woke artists, they suffer from the exact same flaw.

Eh... honestly I think sharing it was a bad idea, because the image wasn't actually of the suspect, just a guess really, probably close but also might easily be closer to other people.

Oh, are we supposed to pretend they don't have one of those already?

How Europe entrusts these people with power is beyond me.

Dominating large demographics doesn't work long term. Eventually it ends in a bloody revolution. We don't have an absolute answer to conflict, and people try many different methods. Allowing the axis powers some degree of freedom after WWII was one experimental method that arose because of the disastrous fallout of WWI, where they did put Germany under lock and key.

Why would you want too though? Isn't part of the allure of fantasy that it's notably different from the modern world?

3

I've found it particularly notable how many fantasy worlds recently have some form of "magic slate" that functions exactly like a smart phone. Way too many people apparently can't even conceptualize a world without constant Internet connections.
