Pretty much every authority figure I have had in my life has either lied to me (knowingly or not), and/or tried to abuse me in some fashion, like my French teacher who made all the males in the class write apology letters to the females after 2 boys acted out, or my kindergarten teacher who hit me for writing with my left hand, or my PreCalc teacher who routinely threatened to hit the males in the class with a stick.

Miami Vice seems like a very conservative show by today's standards, until you really look at some of the things it pushed like tolerance for gays and racial issues. Back then it was actually very progressive, but it is entertaining enough that unless you know what to look for it just slips right by. The last time I checked the Disney parks were the only profitable part of Disney Corp. Their stock hasn't climbed past pre covid (though it had a giant spike during the lockdown) and their movies have been bombing a lot.
