The porn is bad we need age verification to save the children has to be the most fucking obvious example of government trying to pass authoritarian control laws under the guise of "safety of children" ever seen in the history of this being a thing.

The fact some people even on here still don't get it because their hatred of porn is just too large to see it shows how effective it is.

Just an FYI, banning porn isn't going to make men try harder to acquire women; therefore, fixing modern relationships, nor is banning porn going to stop women having unreasonable expectations in men for sex; therefore, fixing modern relationships nor is banning porn going to all of a sudden stop all the LGBTQ+/Trans prevalence, nor is banning porn going to save a plethora of children from being exploited for sex. Banning porn is going to accomplish diddly squat for any of the underlying problems facing society. It's like trying to ban bandaids to stop cuts.

Too many specific examples to name but the general thing that always seems subtle but which highlights the rot is how every year people supposedly combating this rot start to promote the very rot as if it were a good thing simply because it's less rotten than where the rot has progressed to now.

To give a specific example of this: leftists might suggest the SCOTUS needs to change because they're too "conservative". Leftists might suggest 5 liberals to replace the "conservatives" and their suggestions might be 5 White men. "Conservatives" would then suggest they're actually more "progressive" than liberals because they have "conservative" women and black men on the Supreme Court. In reality, a real conservative should not want any black men or women on the Supreme Court.

You see subtle instances of this all the time. The pendulum swings liberal and then conservatives adopt these liberal values. Then as the liberals continue along, the conservatives start promoting the same liberal values but the ones that liberal promoted 10, 20 or 30 years prior. Then when a real conservative pops up and actually promotes true conservatism these "conservatives" attack the real conservatives the same way in which liberals would have attacked the "conservatives". In effect, many modern "conservatives" are just liberals that are 10, 20 or 30 years behind and you see this subtle rot progress each and every year with some new example.

Economy is an excuse and everyone knows it. What's really driving this is women's sense of "independence" which they find more important than the safety and quality of education of their children.

I know a woman right now raising 3 kids by herself on government assistance without any child support payments. She's in her 30s and has never worked a day in her life. According to US Stats, 30% of single mothers are unemployed and only 50% get child support so about 15% of single mothers have found a way to raise kid without working.

If 15% of single mothers can do it, I'm sure all mothers could manage it with a working husband.

If you actually do the math, kids and a wife are dirt cheap. A brand new truck costs more money a month than a woman and 3 kids. So buy an old used beater truck and support a wife + kids instead. Easy, done.

People make "economy" excuses time-and-time again but the fact of the matter is people have never been wealthier in the history of the world, yet now all of a sudden we need women to work to survive? Bullshit. Women don't want a man to take care of them. Women would rather pay other women to care for their kids in daycare and academia instead of making their life's work to raise their own kids and support a husband and it's all because women fear being financially dependent on a man more than anything else in this world. They could easily do it, if they wanted to. Women simply don't want to.

And it's for this reason I'll blame the mother when their kid gets killed at a public school. Home school and stop going to work.

If the natives didn't appropriate any English culture, it would be impossible to converse with such uncivilized peoples though...

It's time we start holding the parents accountable. These mothers are opting to work a worthless job instead of home-schooling their children and this is the result. Obviously, deport all non-Whites, but until that happens White people need to be smarter and adapt. These dual-income households or worse, single-mother, are getting people killed now.

The downvotes are puzzling to me as well. Maybe I hit a nerve with some people who truly think there's something more to canon and non-canon... But the concept of non-canon was never even a concept until corporations starting wrecking havoc on the original lore so people had to come up with a way to explain it.

If George Lucas was involved in say making a Star War video game in the 1990s with an intricate storyline that followed the original plot perfectly then no one would have bothered distinguishing canon and non-canon but when you give a bunch of B-List sci-fi authors the ability to write anything they want for the IP such that half the books released contradict each other regarding timelines of events and characters, people are forced to distinguish otherwise the "lore" doesn't make sense. It has got so bad in modernity that some of the choices producers are making regarding characters and "lore" is outright self-destructive that people are forced to not consider it canon to preserve the sanctity of the lore even if theoretically it should be canon, it's just the producers do in fact want to destroy the original spirit of the lore. So now it's just a game between producers and consumers regarding what stuff the consumer likes and doesn't like. Whatever the consumer likes will be canon and whatever he doesn't like won't be.

At the end of the day, producers are trying to destroy the original spirit of these fantasy worlds and are mad consumers are fighting back with things like "that's not canon" to preserve the core essence of the fantasy worlds they love.

The country with the most to gain by Navalny's death was Ukraine. Ukraine was also the only country besides Russia that came out and said Navalny's death was from natural causes. Odd, imo.

If it means anything, I actually think given your posting style that you might in fact turn 180 degrees but I do think most people would even though they should. It's easier said than done.

I'm not even sure I would and I don't hire female professionals for anything but if I walked onto a flight with some diversity hires or was staring in a movie with a female weapon's checker, I might just think in my mind I'll take the gamble rather than the inconvenience even though I shouldn't... but I might actually... sure, it would cost me another $2000 but I have the money to choose like that so I might but most people don't have $2000 to throw away to make sure they liked their pilot and what happens if the next batch of pilots were diversity hires too lol.

Yes, I meant as a customer.

Some cranky old dude who watches fox news all day and talks about how foreigners and women are destroying America probably has some Filipino woman manage his investments.

You say that but the human condition is to just go along with it and not cause a stir.

Imagine this scenario: You book a trip to Europe with your gf/wife. You take 3 weeks off from work. You tell everyone about your amazing trip you've planned. You're excited to go. You walk on the plane and the pilot is a black woman and the copilot is a Hispanic man who looks a little gay. What do you do?

By all accounts you should just turn 180 degrees and catch another flight but would you actually? A lot of people say precisely what you say but I actually don't think most people would actually cancel what they're up to.

Hollywood is even worse. Unless you're Mel Gibson, turning down the legacy diversity hire (daughter of someone from the industry) specifically because she's a woman and you don't trust her in that role is going to blackball you from the whole industry. You more than likely would grit your teeth at it and maybe double check the weapons yourself but you probably wouldn't tell the producers to hire a new weapon's checker.

Conservatives are all talk when it comes to not dealing with diversity hires. I bet half of them complaining have a doctor, dentist, banker, accountant or some other professional in their life who is nothing more than a diversity hire yet it's super easy to only hire white men for professional roles.

The reason "canon" exists is because when retards got their hands on an IP and decided to add to the "canon" they often made it absolutely terrible so people came up with the term "canon" to essentially differentiate the quality IP from the retarded IP. If the non-Canon additions were okay, they might receive the label "expanded universe". If the additions were too retarded they might not even make it into the expanded universe.

No one would even care about distinguishing canon or not if the additions to the lore by some people weren't absolutely retarded.

If someone has a problem with people respecting canon it's because whatever this person is about to do is going to be disrespectful to whatever IP he's about to ruin.

You can be conservative and hate Trump. I always chuckle at family dinners when my family hates on Trump while expecting me to defend Trump but I always agree with them. They just don't know the reason I dislike Trump is because he's a civic nationalist instead of a racial nationalist.

A big difference is animal products. The switch to everything vegetable instead of animal is a contributing factor.

Don't discount vaccines though. Right around when health started going to shit was also the time vaccine use started growing. We look at countries today that are poor and say that's why they aren't fat because they can't afford to eat but those are also countries without prevalent vaccine use. I think the impacts of vaccines are not being properly measured and there could be something to it.

Still, I would chalk up most of the issue to processed foods. The 1950s was still when women stayed home to cook and grocery stores were only starting to become commonplace. I think having women in the workplace had led to the obesity epidemic because people started buying quick processed foods in the grocery stores instead of making everything from scratch.

But the reason I bring up vaccines is because a lot of people argue the reason people can't seem to lose weight despite "eating healthy" is because of "genetics" but if 100% of your population gets vaccines and then there appears to be some sort of "issue" with people that can't be explained by anything except "genetics" that actually could be a vaccine issue.

I still think our food supply is terrible but I think there's some other weird factor going on which is why I point to vaccines. Maybe it's not vaccines and it's birth control in the water turning frogs gay or something but I believe there's definitely something.

A lot of modern food-making techniques for mass production like pasteurization of milk and certain breadmaking techniques have led to lower quality food and although it seems subtle it may be having a large impact.

I recommend most people switch to a pure animal-based diet or as close as they can get to that. Try to eat the whole animal too not just the breast but the liver, bone marrow, brain (mad cow killed this), kidneys, etc... Use tallow and butter for all cooking and never touch a vegetable oil again. Drink raw milk if available. etc... Almost all of the modern thoughts on "healthy food" is wrong. Sugar is fine, especially if it's from fresh fruit or just plain white sugar. Try to avoid high-fructose corn syrup. Vegetables are much less healthy than people realize. Nightshades are the worst and root vegetables the best.

I feel like DS9 is appreciated more when one was already introduced to the Trek world through TNG. The fact it came out during the peak of TNG was both a blessing and a curse. Curse because it could never outshine TNG but blessing because it was able to use the already existing world in a way TNG never could this giving people a whole new perspective for the aliens/politics of the Trek universe.

I almost feel like TNG and DS9 should be watched in tandem. Watch some TNG until getting a little bored of the mould then watch some DS9 until some of the episodes are getting a little dry then flip back. Taken together, they represent the best Star Trek has to offer imo. On a standalone, DS9 is better but it's also not Star Trek, which is also why it is underappreciated. When it first came out it presented itself more like all the other Star Trek spinoffs and some people didn't even realize it was actually Star Trek.

Imo, the best place to jump in if you refuse to watch all the episodes is S1 E1-2 (the opening episode for the series) then immediately skip to S2 Last Episode of the Season. That's where the main story-arc of the entire series begins. Unfortunately, I think some of the next Season 3 episodes might be a little dry but they're still better than some of the worst episodes of Season 1 and 2.

I'm in the works of rewatching DS9. I'm into season 3 now and so far there's only been maybe 1-3 terrible episodes I had to skip through.

I would caution you away from skipping too much. Part of what makes the characters so good in DS9 is their character development and understanding the historic basis for some of their actions. If you skip too much, you'll lose a lot of the subtlety of the character interactions which is arguably the best part of the series. On a higher level, it's as if the whole space station is a bunch of misfits with completely different agendas that in the beginning causes conflict and misunderstanding but as time goes on, they find common ground to work together in their own way. Seeing that develop is worthwhile, imo and that's where a lot of S1-2 comes into play.

If grifters were a threat to the system, they wouldn't be allowed to speak. There are many people who've been permanently banned on YouTube for speaking the real damning truth. Any grifter whose income is reliant on the very system they supposedly deteste cannot possibly be an effective critic of it.

I honestly just wish anyone who dislikes the culture war would stop paying grifters any attention. This whole culture around people saying things on the internet and making money off of saying things is part of the whole problem.

I would just love it if people wrote accurate female and male characters. The problem is that accurate female characters piss off the women. It's even worse in modern TV shows and movies than video games and it's pretty bad in video games.

And your conclusion is exactly the right conclusion. It's the inverse of what leftists say though. Leftists think if a person's wage isn't enough to live on, their wage should be higher. In reality, if a person's wage isn't enough to live on we should be questioning if that person should even be living then.

As it pertains to people born and raised here, it might be a difficult moral question but if these people in question that can't live on the wage are immigrants it becomes a much easier answer. Stop accepting immigrants into the country.
