What really made me feel for the poor guy was the fact they just at one point casually mentioned how he can not sleep. Ever. Like, just think about it. There are chunks out of the day.. every single day... where he's alone left to his thoughts. Now consider how many days that possibly was all added together. Frankly, I'm surprised he didn't lose it more than he did. I know he doesn't feel fatigue, but man you come up with some pretty fucked up thoughts when you have NO real periods of actual rest... Just... hours upon days... upon weeks straight of shower thoughts.
Also, I know you didn't ask, but I personally preferred the first show. The ending was so much more thought provoking. Envy being their brother... the whole dual worlds, uh... the kid.. Wrath? I get confused because they did some name swapping with Pride. God, that reveal of him having his limbs was so good. Which again, same as you said, that was a real psychological kick in the nuts for Ed.
"Some of the best and most loved recent fantasy haven’t had any problems including disabled people so writing issue I guess."
Edward's motivation throughout the entire fucking series was to restore his and his brother's bodies. Just because they can turn their disability into a fucking super power does not mean they willingly want the handicap. Losing a limb/basic sense is a devastating loss that eats away at your sense of self worth.
Not every MRE is made equal. Some flavors are pretty decent. Others are avoided like the plague. There's also two kinds of people where some hate them and others can't get enough. Seriously, some trainees go mental for the things. Also the chemical cooker bag thing is pretty neat. You add water to it and it just gets REAL hot real fast. That was my experience in the Chair Force at least.
It is a little odd. I wonder what the tipping point is where these people just decide to press the nuclear button. It always seemingly comes out of nowhere and ends the same way every single time. Like, literally never in their favor, but they keep doing it.
What a retarded point. You can love anything without it being human, not that I'm saying women aren't human. It's just... such a smooth brain statement to make. You can love a pet. You can love a sentimental object. These people think they are so much more intelligent than they think they are it hurts.
Ya know, not everyone is in the same loop. Would help if you linked to the documentary, or at least gave the title so I could look it up. Like I could try, but I'm not given enough info to confidently say I found the one you're specifically talking about.
