Actually the doc seemingly almost exonerates him of anything outright illegal. Literally everyone is getting accused left and right of heinous awful shit, while he is just called a complete asshole who hates women and screams at children.
So either fear of him is that strong that nobody even dares hint at him being guilty of something, or he was innocent of at least being an actual rapist unlike some others. People suspect a lot of things because of the obvious smoke, but nobody can speak to actually confirming.
Apparently Brian Peck was the real ringleader of evil, who straight raped Drake Bell after a systematic campaign to isolate him from his father. And then he got like 40 Hollywood people to write the Judge during his case to call him the bestest guy ever and get him only 16 months for literally sodomizing a minor.
And apparently his good pal Dan "the man with the plan, get in the van" Schneider was not one of those who did. He in fact was on Drake's side helping comfort him after.
The most sad thing is this was in 2005 or so. Drake was an extra on the Amanda show that Dan had picked up to make Drake and Josh with. Brian wormed his way into the relationship between Drake and his father, then abused and got arrested for it.
All this was before Drake and Josh went on the air. Drake had to reshoot the pilot cause he wasn't dealing with it well.
