Knowing Valve they will "lock" the group pending an "investigation" (and likely hide it from the public to reduce discussion around it) and keep that thing slow and purposely void of any noteworthy outcome until the momentum dies down. Thereafter, they will announce that they couldn't find any wrongdoing but then bloviate about how they don't condone harassment or groups fostering harassment and they will monitor such groups closely and shut down any that violate their ever-shifting terms of service/community guideline policies before opening the group back up again.
They might even implement a shadow-ban type API for curator groups they don't want to grow too big to help reduce their influence.Typical normie content creators might call it out for being bollocks, but after a few weeks they will forget about it and go back to business as usual.

What bothers me is that gaming has enough space for everyone. Not everything has to be slanted the way they want it. Gaming has had diverse characters. Well written diverse characters since as far back as I can remember.

I did play Zau during Next Fest and it was absolutely one of my favorite demos, if I get a product I want I'm not really concerned with the ideology behind it.
If people behind the game want to espouse stupid bullshit on twitter I gladly support them getting clowned on.
If the trend continues it'll be at a quarter million subscribers by this weekend. It would be pretty amazing if Valve makes it disappear.
